This is our first visit to Castel Camping Château de Chanteloup. And what a pleasure it was. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is amazing, so family friendly. Extremely clean site with great facilities. Very clean toilets, showers and washing facilities. An on site store, bar and restaurant. A lovely outdoor pool, play are with table tennis tables. We will definitely be looking at returning to this campsite.

There was nothing on this visit we could see needed changing.

Our pitch was perfect, great size, easy access to wash rooms, showers and play area. It plot was nice and flat. Big enough for our campervan and side tent. We had no noise issues everyone was respectful to others. Accessible electrical point. Easy access to water.

Nothing to dislike.

Lovely large pitch on the Pommier section overlooking the courtyard.Loved the rustic charm of the buildings around the courtyard but the shower/ toilet facilities inside were very modern and clean.The pool area was fantastic.Lovely choice of food in the restaurant and good quality. All in all a lovely setting .Very peaceful.Wished we could have stayed longer unfortunately we were only there for 2 nights.Definitely recommend.

Lovely large pitch , with trees and hedges for privacy.

We had a large twin axle caravan and a landrover so it was a little tight getting on pitch no.6 ( pommier ) but once on it was more than adequate.

The location, camping facilities and restaurant are all a very high standard, and made that much better by the team of young people running the site. We’ve been here a few times in the past and have never been disappointed. It’s set up really well whether you’re a couple or have a young family with you. On this occasion my wife was feeling quite ill with a bacterial infection on arrival. I spoke to a lady on site called Valerie who reassured me that if it got to a point where I thought we’d need a doctor, then I should call her at any time day or night. Many thanks Valerie!

De fijne gemoedelijke sfeer. De aankleding van de camping, gezellig. Le Mans leuke stad. Prima!

Sanitair aan de oude kant. Mag wel eens opgeplust worden.

Mooie sfeervolle camping. Lekker ruim, fijne gasten en medewerkers

Heerlijke accomodatie, geweldige omgeving. Camping gericht op samen, natuur, rust. We genoten voor het vierde jaar op rij. Tot volgend jaar!

Ruim opgezet, heel fijn met 3 kleine kinderen. Net sanitair en fijn keukentje.

Wij hadden helaas geen bank buiten zoals onze buren in Uluru.

We were due to camp at chateau de Chanteloup in our campervan but on route we suffered a broken spring and the van needed to be repaired. We contacted the chateau who moved us into the petit Appartment, saving our holiday. The team were so accommodating to resolve our issues. A wonderful experience and have booked another few nights on our way home

Cynthia pitch was spot on for interacting with others and enjoying that open space feel. Restaurant had some nice dishes under the new roof.

Toilets need a slight upgrade. One or two new seats would help. Limited number of toilets for females -could do with a few more. WiFi was tricky to establish and the initial 2 hours lasted 15 minutes.

Pitch was fine. Although right beside entrance road there was no impact from traffic. Water tap under tree provided the necessary steps for daily exercise.
