We loved the site and as a family we all had a lovely time. It was beautiful and we'd love to come again.
The toilets were smelly and dirty quite often. I think they just needed cleaning more regularly. Also the shop on site was very expensive and not very well stocked. A lot of the meat (sausages) were 2 days out of date and still being sold.

We were in a lovely shady spot under trees. Plenty of space.

Many thanks for this important feedback. The toilets are regularly cleaned but with a lot of people on site, they can get dirty quickly but we will reduce the number of people and the shop will change next year :)

Ruime plaatsen, leuke bar met gezellige zitjes en bediening. Zwembad prima
Restaurant was warm en duurde lang. Douches ver van staanplaats.

De niet zo massaliteit van een camping
Ondanks dat de camping wat meer staanplaatsen heeft als vroeger toch nog de rust die je er vind

Price of wine in bar.and shop
6 Euros per glass of House Red was far too expensive, particularly in France. Equally, the shop which was sparsely stocked and very expensive. The theory of price elasticity of demand would suggest that lowering if prices would actually increase sales revenue.

We were so happy to come back to a Castels site after being on the coast. We love the rural, peaceful chateau camping with all its amenities. We haven't commented on the activities as we haven't done any but I am sure there were some.

Kampeerveld is mooi, uitzicht boom en kasteel. Zwembad prima. Afhaal maaltijd prima. Welkomst BBQ met drankje en kaas prima verzorgd.
Drukte, hierdoor hygiëne in middag en avond niet goed en zwembad te druk.

Having been on a Roadtrip for the last two months travelling around Europe we have stayed in several countries and numerous sites. Your site and where we were pitched were perfect. Not crammed and plenty of space between clients. Polite and helpful staff with everything you need. We would stay with you again if we were travelling South.

General information :
I like the family feel to the campsite, lots of inclusive activities. Staff are very helpful. The chateau is a pleasant place to spend time.

Good size pitches, quiet at night
Not much shade so got very hot and bright in the morning,. Toilets were quite far from the pitch. Some loud machinery noise from the farm next door early in the morning.

Fijne gemoedelijke camping. Ondanks de hoeveelheid plekken geen massale indruk. Laagdrempelig, behulpzaam contact en goede service van medewerkers!!
De hoeveelheid sanitair zou wat meer uitgebreid kunnen worden.
