Perhaps our oldest peaks are the priority destination, even though family rambles from our campsites mean beauty can be found everywhere !
In the east, you will find the Vosges with their famous ‘ball’ peaks and lush forests. Don’t miss the Black Forest in the Vosges Natural Regional Park or the heart of the Massif des Vosges, a little further south.
Visit the Jura, with its lakes and waterfalls. Don’t forget the Massif Central, where you will discover the Auvergne, its extinct volcanoes and the stunning Chaîne des Puys.
The Pyrenees are much younger ! The Hautes-Pyrénées and Ariège are simply unmissable. The region abounds with natural treasures, such as the Cirque de Gavarnie and the Pic du Midi, but also magnificent hikes to mountain lakes in unspoilt valleys.
The Savoy and the Alps are home to the Vanoise, Ecrins and Mercantour national parks, all within easy reach of Albertville or Grenoble.
Each mountain is different and our campsite managers will be able to give you tips on local hikes or simply the right meat and cheese to take on a picnic. Quality also means a tradition of taste.
Kids love it when our campsites are covered in a blanket of snow! You are sure to have snowmen and snowball fights right outside your warm and cosy accommodation. Our campsites, often located near to family-friendly resorts, offer all kinds of winter fun for you and your friends.
Snowshoe hikes, dog sledding, skiing and relaxation. Spas, thermal baths, ‘raclettes’ and fondues are the perfect way to end your day.
Why not try a novel and high-quality way of celebrating Christmas or the New Year ?
