Lovely welcome, spotlessly clean cabin. The village and its close proximity. Glorious countryside with beautiful villages.

Well equipped, good kitchen, comfortable bed. Adequate storage. Good , private space around.

Do not like the upright sofa designed to turn into a bed. 2 comfortable chairs would be good. The main bedroom is very small. The sundowners are back breaking.

Hélas 7 jours de pluie torrentielle ont transformé les abords herbeux du bungalow en bourbier. Il est dommage qu’un accès pierreux au bungalow n’ait pas été prévu

Prachtige camping, Zeer gezellig en lief Internationaal personeel Ned/Eng/Fr. Mooi zwembad, Goed gratis Wifi. Mooi terras en goed restaurant. Gelegen naast een heel mooi dorpje La Romieu. Waar je de kerktoren kan beklimmen. Prachtige omgeving met in de zomer de zonnebloemen. Prachtige dorpjes, leuke marktjes, Armagnac, Floc de Casgogne. (Zo lekker)

Reception and staff were the friendliest and most helpful I’ve encountered in 30 years camping. Plots are huge (stayed in a rental) and feel very private, the restaurant was delicious with fast service, the pool isn’t huge but it doesn’t feel busy, sports facilities are good, and evening entertainment available and if decent quality. Really enjoyed our stay.

The campsite was as advertised, and better in many respects.

It was well laid out inside, the air con was a plus. The plot size was really big, with grass all around for the kids to play, and it felt private/sheltered with no immediate neighbours or vistas.

Super gezellige terras, gezellige mensen, goed om te wandelen en te fietsen, verfrissend zwembad, mooi dorp, en overal kom je wel een bijzonder verhaal tegen.

Zoals we al hebben gezegd, een lekkere steak en een goeie magret hebben we gemist op de menu van het restaurant, maar we begrijpen ook de reden erachter (schaarste die de prijs doet stijgen). En jammer dat er geen thema avonden konden gepland worden door het onstabiele weer dit jaar. Maar daar kan niemand iets aan doen. De bar was een goed alternatief !

I loved the pitch, the hub around the restaurant, bar and swimming pool is very pleasant. Nice to have evening entertainment, from VR for the kids, to bands for all.

I forgot to bring our sheet up to the laundry at the end, and was told by the cleaner that we had left the cabin "very dirty". All it needed was a sweep and a mop, which frankly, for the 50 Euros we paid, didn't seem too much trouble.

We have been coming to this site on and off for 20 years which must speak for itself.

The restaurant/snack bar has changed and the menus are quite boring not a patch on what they used to be. No authentic French cuisine apart from duck legs. Burgers seem to be the 'dish of the day'!

Accommodation review :

Now that aircon is installed it certainly make a difference. It would be even better if it reached into the bedrooms. A washing machine would be far better than a dish washer.
