This is a lovely campsite run by Raphael & Jessica who are very welcoming. Sadly we were only staying 2 nights so were unable to make full use of the facilities. Great rural location not far from Pont L’Eveque in lovely countryside. Will definitely stay again if in the area

Large pitch and hot water in the showers. It had a lovely fishing lake and a good restaurant. Was a good stop on the way back to the ferry. We received a lovely friendly welcome

We have a large twin axle caravan the site is tight for manoeuvring around.

Low power feed to the caravan from the post. We couldn’t have our fridge on the electric as the power wasn’t strong enough.

It was amazing. It was my first trip as a single mum with my 3 children but the camping was amazing. It was really relaxing and beautiful. The staff was super friendly, the musicnights were so good, the camping was beautiful and nicely located. Me and my children loved it very much and will go back for sure.

Super genoten van deze camping, gezin is unaniem: volgend jaar weer, maar dan langer. Heerlijke plek om te verblijven als je van rust houdt. Alle benodigde voorzieningen aanwezig, sanitair wordt meerdere keren per dag schoongemaakt, zwembad is verwarmd, super aardig personeel dat prima Engels spreekt. En natuurlijk een aantal avonden in de week live muziek, echt genieten en super gezellig elke keer. Wat ook goed is bevallen is de mogelijkheden van het gescheiden afval en de zaken die hiervoor zijn geregeld. Dat maakt het enorm goed om ook echt te doen.

Technische staat van diverse zaken sneller herstellen. Urinoirs die defect zijn (slechts 1 die werkt in het dichtstbijzijnde toiletgebouw), defecte wasdrogers (2 van de 3), dat is niet heel handig. Ook niet onoverkomelijk, maar het zou mooier zijn als dit wel (sneller) wordt aangepakt.

Wat een mooie en enorm ruime plaats hadden wij, helemaal super. En zo zijn er nog veel meer en ook nog ruimere plekken. Voorziening als voldoende stroom (10 Amp), eigen waterpunt en afvoer, Dat is heel erg prettig. Daarbij waren op de plaats stoelen, een tafel, een parasol en een heel nette barbecue aanwezig in een afsluitbare kast. Meer kan je eigenlijk niet wensen.

Dat hebben we nog niet kunnen ontdekken....

Prachtige camping, heerlijke sfeer, fijne mensen Raphael maakt de camping echt uniek. De hartelijkheid waarmee hij alles doet en natuurlijk de muziekavonden, echt fantastisch.

Wellicht in de animatie voor de kinderen iets van variatie. Wellicht ook iets van muziek maken echt gericht op de kinderen?

Het toiletgebouw was wat gedateerd maar oké, soms liep het water niet goed weg na douchen of wc’s die niet doorspoelden

We booked a pitch around the lake for our twin axle it was a lovely pitch the owners was always around which is rare very lovely people and the staff nothing was to much trouble to help you out beautiful site with rabbits and chickens roam free which popped around to see you and the cat which was lovely swimming pool shop order your bread for next day pub/cafe restaurant fab live music to most nights and various stalls in evenings for food/veg really enjoyed our stay so sad it come to the end peaceful & relaxing even with kids about can’t wait to return next year

Not a premium booked Our pitch was lovely for our twin axle caravan just when you book make sure you inform them of your size of unit as some are smaller than others so could be tight for space

The entire team at Le Brevedent make everyone feel welcome. Everyone is helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The cafe and bar are excellent and the new patio in front of the chateau is a great addition. Music nights are always special including jazz performances and encouragement of local musicians. Bastille Day is always a highlight with Barbeque, music and fireworks. The visit is never long enough.

We have stayed at this site a number of time and it is always very friendly and welcoming. The music evenings are wonderful. It is great to sit outside in an evening and listen to live music in such a lovely setting. Love the goats, rabbits and chicken, always entertaining. Staff go above and beyond to help you and speak good English.

Cut Shrubs back on some of the tight turns to avoid scratching caravan sides on arriving and leaving.

Large pitch with full services for caravan. Great little storage shed with table, chairs, deck chairs and parasol. It is also good for storing any bits you have.

Absolutely loved our 3rd stay here. If you are looking for quiet and laidback then this is the perfect place for you. Lovely pool for when it gets too warm. Great restaurant on site with local produce.

Location, facilities and friendliness shown by the staff. The pool was also a plus. Recycling was given good priority. Walks from site good. Facilities for young grandson good, he enjoyed visiting the rabbits and using the play area.

Very peaceful location. Staff and owner very helpful and happy with customers all the time. We had a very large pitch that had all services on. Sanitary blocks were immaculate. Restaurant served excellent food. Good if you are a vegetarian. Drinks very reasonably priced for France. Nice pool, not as warm as others I have Bern un but refreshing on a warm day.

Fill in the large pothole on the only access road onto the camp. It was impossible to miss even when just in the car.

Excellent. We had a Premium pitch and it had everything we needed. Free BBQ's were available for people to use. We had a small shed with tables, chairs, deck chairs, umbrella and BBQ equipment.

Slightly sloping and was difficult to evacuate the water uphill, but didn't really affect our stay.

Die Atmosphäre auf dem schönen Anwesen ist wunderbar. Egal ob man sich für einen Platz am See oder abseits davon entscheidet ist es überall geräumig und alle Einrichtungen sind in der Nähe. Cafe/Bar und Restaurant laden zum Verweilen ein. Die Stellplätze mit Vollausstattung haben Möbel und Grills dabei, was für Zeltende super ist. Die freilaufenden Kaninchen (daher auch keine Hunde) sind nicht nur für Kinder faszinierend.

We had a wonderful stay at Le Brevedent! It’s such a peaceful site and feels so relaxed. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming . It’s our first time in France with our Camper Van. We had a flat and spacious pitch, backing onto the lake- so a lovely view to wake up to! The takeaway pizzas were delicious too.

Just a small thing: We have restrictions on the food we can bring across to France, so I would welcome some tomorrows or fruit in the shop - but we managed give without!

Le Brévedent is set in a beautiful woodland. It is ideal for visiting Normandy and the Calvados region.. The staff are all very helpful and make you feel welcome. Lovely Pool and restaurant. We will return.

Friendly staff and everywhere clean and tidy. We had a spacious fully serviced pitch and really enjoyed ourselves.

Some of the pitches on the lakeside were muddy due to recent rain. It maybe possible to improve this with installation of better drainage. We kept back from the lake where there was no mud.

Huge pitch. Nice dry grass and easy to get on and off. All services easy to connect to. We didn’t use the equipment in the shed as only a short stay, but found it useful to store packs if Coca-Cola, beer and other items in.

Camping le Brévedent has a rustic feel and we loved the eco friendly culture. Everyone was really friendly. The staff were amazing. The restaurant was excellent and the little shop has everything that you need for your stay. The recycling facilities are really good and you are provided with bags and containers for your waste. The goats, bunnies and chickens were well looked after and a great touch. Our grandchildren would love them! I really appreciated the patience when ‘trying out’ my French language skills (or lack of skills !!) and I even learnt some new words. Merci!

The pitch was a good size with chairs etc provided which were of good quality. The planting on and around the pitches appears to be carefully thought out. The toilets and showers were immaculate and cleaned at least twice a day.

Some of the pitches can be slightly difficult to park on if you don’t have a motor mover fitted to your caravan. But this isn’t a negative as the pitches are all really lovely with mature planting which is carefully managed.

Ein wunderschöner Campingplatz lädt zum Verweilen und Chillen ein. Die liebevoll bepflanzte und gepflegte Parkanlage mit ihren Bewohnern (freundliche Menschen und verschiedene Tiere, Lamas, Hühner, Ziegen und Kaninchen) machten unseren Aufenthalt zum Geschenk. Die Größe der Stellplätze ist schon besonders. Große Duschen. Der beheizte Pool wurde täglich von uns genutzt. Leckeres Baguette und Croissants machten das Frühstück perfekt! Der kleine aber feine Laden war gut bestückt. Fahrradtouren sind in sehr schöner Umgebung möglich. Danke an das hilfsbereite, freundliche Team! A la prochaine ??

Das Duschwasser im großen Waschhaus dürfte etwas wärmer sein!

Hartelijke ontvangst met altijd een glimlach, mooie ruime kampeerplekken, fijn zwembad, leuk terras vlak bij het kasteeltje, leuk restaurant met vriendelijke bediening.

We kwamen aan het eind van het seizoen dus qua entertainment was er minder te doen terwijl ons de muziekavonden erg leuk leken, reden om nog eens terug te komen wat eerder in het seizoen.

Heerlijk ruime plek met als extra een schuurtje met stoelen een tafel, bbq en zelfs nog een extra koelkast (weet niet of op alle plekken hetzelfde in de schuurtjes zit)

Afvalwaterafvoer is een putje hoog gelegen op de plek dus niet aan te sluiten met een slang en noodgedwongen met een teiltje in de weer. Maar als dat nou het ergste is, was prima te doen zo.

We couldn't ask for anything better. The place is amazing. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Our pitch was perfect with a view over the lake. The extras on the premium pitch where chairs, table, bbq, fridge. All very useful. The toilets and shower block very clean. We used the pool and that to was very clean. There is a shop with local produce. Which was very handy. We had a beer in the cafe in the afternoon and ate in the restaurant. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The site is also very eco friendly. I would highly recommend this site.

This is a well located site for Deauville etc , easy to locate good wide entrance, host was extremely friendly and spoke good English ,pool area was clean and tidy with the heated pool Pitches were an excellent size but a few were uneven but loads of room around each pitch and some had a view of the lake

Een leuke en grote staanplaats met al de nodige voorzieningen, jammer dat er soms problemen waren met de elektronica van de caravan door de mindere elektriciteitsvoorzieningen. Op andere kampeerplaatsen hadden we geen problemen.

Enthousiaste, bevlogen en hardwerkende eigenaren. Hun uitstraling zie je terug in alles. Raphael is een duizendpoot, van het voeren van de dieren tot optreden in zijn band. Altijd vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zeer goed dat er aandacht wordt gegeven aan ecologische/biologische aspecten. Veel mogelijkheden tot spelen voor kinderen. Restaurant heeft prima kaart met aandacht voor het biologische, pluspunt is dat speeltuin direct aan terras van het restaurant grenst (je krijgt je kind bijna niet meer aan tafel ;-)

Aanbod in de winkel zou iets aangepast kunnen worden op mensen die meerdere dagen vast op de camping verblijven (campers) -bijvoorbeeld verse groenten en fruit.
