The site was immaculate and clean. All facilities are to hand and loads of stuff to do. Great walks for me and the dog. We enjoyed a meal at the onsite restaurant which was excellent.

Our second day we were inundated with a flying beatle that we think are called stink bugs. Not the sites fault just one of those things when you are out in nature. I have to add that the site where great about and allowed us to move to a different pitch after we moved we had no more problems.

Trotz 1 Woche Regenwetter toller, angenehmer & abwechslungsreicher Aufenthalt. Super Campingplatz mit vielen Gesellschafts- u. Freizeitangeboten, auch Thai-Massage. Personal äusserst entgegenkommend und hilfsbereit. Verdient seine 5 Sterne. Umgebung bietet zahlreiche Sehenswürdigkeiten, landschaftlich sehr interessant. Wir kommen wieder.

Der freundliche, höfliche und hilfsbereite Umgang, angefangen von den Eigentümern bis zum Reinigungspersonal.

Einige WC-Brillen sollten überprüft werden. Nachts könnte die Beleuchtung der Fusswege zu den Toiletten besser sein.

Schöne, große Stellplatz. Tolle Anlage. Hunderunden direkt ab Platz möglich. Freundlicher Service.

Matschige Stellplätze. Tischtennisplatte krumm und schief. Waschhaus vorne: Warmwasser der Duschen nicht konstant. Es stinkt im ganzen Haus von der Chemietoilettenentleerung. Waschmaschine zu teuer (6 EUR für 28 Minuten-Programm).

The best kind of holiday for me is to be welcomed warmly by the campsite’s people and to be surrounded by beauty and a little luxury! Le Paradis excelled in both of these regards. Late season campers do tend to be of a certain age and we found there was a real sense of friendly community among our neighbours, many of whom come every year.

The landscaping around the campsite is amazing and a delight to walk through, but not sure about the presence of the very tall intimidating bamboo. I also missed having the option of a cheese course in the restaurant as I need to avoid desert as a diabetic (note: I didn’t avoid desert - oops!)

Accommodation review :

We had to split our time between two pitches opposite to one another. The first pitch was perfect, sun in the day, shade in the evening. The second was shaded too much and was in darkness all of the time with very little grass. They were both well placed in the site for all amenities.

Only the overly shaded pitch with not much grass was very dirty when it rained and was difficult to keep out of the van. However cutting down healthy trees is never an easy decision to make I do appreciate.

Pitches were great, plenty of room, restaurant, takeaway, bar and shop excellent. Reception staff were lovely, special mention for the young lady who phoned up to book the velorail for us. All staff very pleasant

I know it’s a French thing but I prefer segregated shower and toilet facilities, feels a little vulnerable especially for ladies if there is a man showering in the next cubicle.

Sehr grosszügiger Platz

Platz hat Gefälle in Richtung Wasserablauf. Wohnmobil musste Richtung Norden aufgestellt werden, so das bei Regen leider alles Wasser unter die Markise lief.

La variété botanique et la propriété ainsi que l’agencement général avec l’espace piscine. L’accueil chaleureux et aimable. Bref un adresse à recommander. Un camping qui a une âme.

The site is in a beautiful part of the Dordogne. Good pools and toilet blocks. The bar and restaurant are very good.

The pitch we stayed on was very muddy when we arrived and there was a lot of mole hills which meant we could not use some of the area. We were staying with family on the next pitch. Had we been on our own we would have requested to move.

Mooie goed verzorgde camping, prachtig gelegen aan de rivier de Vezere. Veel aandacht wordt er besteed aan het groen, de bloemen en planten. Sanitair (2 gebouwen) zijn goed, regelmatig schoongemaakt. Gezellig pleintje met terras, omringd door een campingwinkeltje (elke dag verse broodjes), een bar, restaurant, en afhalen snacks. Mooi binnen- en buitenzwembad met speelgedeelte voor kinderen. Speeltuin. Ontvangst bij receptie hartelijk en uitgebreid. Gesproken talen naast natuurlijk Frans, Nederlands, Engels en Duits gesproken. Uitgebreide gescheiden afvaldepot.

The caravan site was immaculate, cleaning and maintenance staff were constantly visible. The entertainment team work hard to entertain guests of all ages, and all staff were friendly and happy to help. The swimming pools, whilst busy offered swimming and fun opportunities for all guests, and having access to the river was a real benefit. The shop was well stocked and the bar and restaurant offered great options for drinks and on site dining.

The only thing I would like to see different would possibly be a take away pizza offer from the restaurant.

We were on Spiree 2. It was the perfect pitch for us with plenty of sun and shade. With 5 of us the space on the pitch was perfect.

The only frustration with the pitch was that the water from our waste was trying to drain uphill due to the position and design of the drainage point. Our waste kept bubbling back up through our shower drain.

Prachtige camping, eigenaren met passie voor wat ze doen en genoeg vertier voor de kinderen. Heerlijk restaurantje, campingwinkeltje waar je alles kunt vinden en altijd vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

Everything was fantastic the facilities the pitch and the location a big shout out to every single staff member who I encountered were so polite and friendly. Happy hour a great time to mingle with other holiday makers and singing at karaoke before the TV broke hahaha. Thank you all for making our first trip to the Dordogne a memorable one and we will surely return one year.

If possible the caravan waste point to be a separate location to the toilet facilities as it does create odour when showering.

Excellently situated for river access and local history. Site was immaculate, facilities were very clean. Bar and restaurant were great and pool area was a lovely space. Loved the attention to detail.

Maybe put a lifeguard safety ring down by the jetty - just in case anyone does get into trouble in the river.

Quite noisy, being between kids club, football ground and workshop. Felt very open. A little hedge at the front - similar to pitch number S2 would be nice to give some privacy- especially when circus arrives.

Afgezien van sanitair wat de hoeveelheid campinggasten soms niet helemaal aankan (overigens wordt er zeer regelmatig goed schoongemaakt, complimenten daarvoor) is dit een perfecte camping. Niet te groot, niet te klein, genoeg te doen in de omgeving

Le Paradis lives up to its name. The site is brilliant-beautifully presented and close to the river. The facilities are very good and the campsite is not too big giving it a safe and friendly ambience.

The toilets could be cleaned more frequently as there was a tendency for them to get blocked.

We komen al een paar jaar op deze camping en genieten elk jaar weer van de vele mooie bloemen, planten en bomen die de camping rijk is.

Het zou mooi zijn als er meer plekken zouden zijn waar de jeugd ‘s avonds, ook na 23.00 uur kan zitten. Daarnaast zou het toiletgebouw, met name douches, wel iets opgeknapt mogen worden.

Mooie grote plek, vlakbij de rivier.

Sanitair was niet altijd even schoon. Voor ons gevoel zouden er een aantal toiletten bij kunnen. Douches waren heerlijk! We hadden een hittegolf, daardoor stonden de airco's de hele dag op maximaal. We hadden het idee dat we in een aircopark stonden. Niet te doen het lawaai en de discussies 's avonds of men rekening met hun medekampeerders wil houden. De eigenaar zet alles op alles om het voor iedereen fijn te houden!
