Dit was ons tweede jaar op camping Ile de Boulancourt en zeker niet ons laatste. Vorig jaar waren we in het voorseizoen en dit jaar in het naseizoen en dan is het heerlijk rustig. Alles wordt goed bijgehouden, ziet er netjes en verzorgd uit en ook het personeel is super vriendelijk en staat voor je klaar. Echt een aanrader, zeker ook voor klimmers.

De camping is ruim opgezet en de velden zijn op zo'n manier door middel van verschillende bomen en struiken van elkaar gescheiden dat er een heel natuurlijk gevoel ontstaat. Hier kun je echt ontspannen en de vele vogelgeluiden, 's avonds ook veel uilen, maken het nog bijzonderder.

Wir waren zu zweit mit Hund im Auto mit Heckzelt unterwegs. Der Campingplatz bietet viel Natur, wir standen direkt am kleinen Fluss, was unser Wasserhund sehr zu schätzen wusste. Gegen die lästigen Mücken gab es Spray und lange Ärmel. Es war eine sehr entspannte Atmosphäre, freundliche Mitarbeiter und saubere Sanitäranlagen, sogar mit Seife und Toilettenpapier. Wir haben den Brötchenservice nicht genutzt, konnten unsere Wasserflaschen wieder einfrieren und waren rundum zufrieden. Es gab sogar eine sehr verständliche Mülltrennung .Von unserem vierwöchigem Roadtrip einer der besten Plätze

Schön wäre ein kleines WC im hinteren Bereich auf der Zeltwiese.

Beautiful place. We stayed here wanting to go bouldering in Fontainebleau. Due du the rain this was not really possible but nevertheless we loved the camping site. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

The heated shower and toilet room was great because of colder temps. Location was easy to find and it offered crash pad rental which made our climbing trip a lot easier.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt auf dem Campingplatz. Unser Standort war leider nicht ideal und der Dauercamper nebenan eher unhöflich. Die vielen netten Menschen auf dem Campingplatz und die Mitarbeitenden haben das allerdings fast vergessen lassen. Wir haben super Informationen zum Bouldern in der Region erhalten und das Equipment (Crashpad und Fahrrad in unserem Fall) konnte sehr günstig ausgeliehen werden.

Man sollte bei Buchung mitteilen, dass der Stellplatz, der zur Verfügung steht direkt am Fluss liegt. Das war für uns nicht so schön, da es viel Gänsekot und schlammige Stellen gab.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und die Sanitäranlagen sehr sauber.

Es sollte einen Rabatt für alle geben, die ohne Auto anreisen. Das würde die Umweltfreundlichkeit des Zeltplatzes noch unterstützen.

Nice camping in very small village near the southern and western bouldering areas in the forest. One small shop and bar within walking distance. For families, solotravelers etc who prefer a quiet time.

Ein liebevoll geführter Campingplatz mit sehr sympathischen Mitarbeiteten.

Ach, es war alles ganz wunderbar, besonders der Aufenthaltsraum mit Kochstelle und Kühlschränken, super! Was vielleicht noch verbessert werden könnte, ist eine Markierung an den Reglern der Herdplatten, damit man sehen kann welcher Knopf für welche Platte ist, und wo die niedrigste/höchste Stufe ist.

Da wir spät angekommen sind, haben wir per E-Mail einen Stellplatz zugewiesen bekommen. Wir haben uns nicht exakt daran gehalten, auch wenn wir nicht wussten, ob das okay ist. Aber es war in Ordnung.

Meine Frau und ich fahren regelmäßig zum bouldern in die Region und freuen uns jedes Mal, wieder auf „unserem“ Campingplatz zu übernachten. Wir lieben die Lage mit den Wiesen und Bäumen und die freien großen Plätze. Das Team ist immer engagiert auch Sonderwünsche zu erfüllen und immer freundlich. We had a great time here and were made to feel very welcome during our stay. We came out of season, so we felt like we had the facilities to ourselves most of the time. We had a nice, flat pitch for our tent by the river and it was very quiet and the other campers were very respectful of the ‘quiet after 10:30pm’ rule. The local shop does lovely baguettes and pain au chocolate which you can pre-order the day before. Great location for climbing in the Font Forest. We’ll definitely be back again, when hopefully the weather will be a little less-rainy!

You have to drive a bit to the local towns to find dinner in the evenings. Would recommend The Rajasthan in Malsherbes, or there are lots of lovely places a little further afield in Fontainebleau town - we ate at La Salamandre - wonderful.

We really enjoyed the tranquility, the surroundings as well as the hospitality. The staff, Jerome, Valentin and others, were always friendly, helpful and in for a small chat. We felt really welcome.

We didn't mind but if you are not into hiking, bouldering or nature, this region is perhaps not for you. We, on the other hand, loved it!!!

We had a lovely pitch; big, nice and quiet. After 22:30 it is really quiet, or it should be, so you can truly relax and sleep well. There is a lot of green and some animals such as ducks, hedgehogs, and squirrels; really cute! The pitch was also rather large and there was enough distance between us and our neighbours. So you also had your privacy.

The camping felt like a second home. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. We loved staying here and it's likely we will return.

It was not quiet after 22:30, as it should be according to the camping rules. The Wi-Fi was not good enough to use for remote working.
