We kregen een goede kampeerplek voor onze tent. We hebben mooie wandelingen gemaakt en bezochten uiteraard Saint Emilion. We zijn onder de indruk van de inzet en ijver van de campingbazen. Ze doen er echt alles aan om het voor de bezoekers aangenaam en comfortabel te maken. Het camping terrein is parkachtig en daar houden we van. Voldoende privacy! Het afwaswater zou wel wat warmer mogen; de douches hebben wel een fijne temperatuur.

Een kleine opmerking: de temperatuur van het afwaswater mag echt wel wat omhoog!

De plaats was groot genoeg voor onze tent en de auto stond er niet in de weg. Heerlijk veel schaduw!, maar we konden ook, als we wilden, altijd een zonnige plek vinden.

No one in Reception at 2.00 p.m. opening time. No printed map of the site given out. Recycling facilities too far from the campsite. Drainage in the shower area not well designed. Expensive for a campsite.

Fantastisch om ‘s morgens wakker te worden in een kakafonie van vogel geluiden.

Jammer dat je, als je ‘s morgens vroeg vertrekt, je geen afscheid kunt nemen van de camping eigenaren. Dus bij deze bedankt en onze complimenten

seul point négatif, le manque d'eau chaude pour la vaisselle(obligé de faire chauffer une bouilloire) idem pour le lavage du linge à la main.

The pitch was in a wonderful location with a perfect view of Chateau Rauzan. It provided some sunshine and shade with plenty of nearby walking and cycling and local places to visit.

On est resté une semaine dans ce merveilleux camping familial. On a apprécié l’accueil chaleureux, le calme, le château gonflable, la piscine, les jeux de société , l’animation Tír a l’arc. Les enfants ont pu rencontrer et jouer avec plein d’autres enfants en toute sécurité. On a visité le château de Rauzan et la grotte Célestine avec les plus grands. Nous avons également pu visiter St Emilion, Bordeaux, Arcachon et la Dune de Pilat. Ce n’est pas un camping pour faire la fête toute la nuit, ce qui nous convenait parfaitement! ;-)

Swimming trunk rule. Why not just tell people to swim in clean trunks only, I dont own speedos! To be fair the trunk rule is all over France so I dont blame the campsite

Lovely campsite. We booked online and were impressed with the online guide sent before our visit where we were able to research our stay and plan hikes and visits to local sites. Rauzan is a small village with so many things to enjoy! The castle is nearly on site and the grotto is a must see. We thouroughly enjoyed our time here and thank Pelaige and Thom for making our trip so enjoyable and for creating such a cool place to visit.
