Vaison la Romaine is situated 8 miles from the foot of the 6,263ft high Mont Ventoux and is surrounded by the numerous picturesque villages of the High Vaucluse. It is a real paradise for walkers, cyclists and wine lovers. The town itself is renowned for its imposing Roman ruins, its medieval _old town_ as well as its large and fascinating Provencal market each Tuesday. The town has two large supermarkets, a wide range of smaller shops as well as many excellent restaurants. English newspapers are available from early morning in the town. The area benefits from the lovely Provencal climate. Camping Théâtre Romain caters for couples and families who are looking for a peaceful and spotlessly clean campsite. It is the perfect spot to appreciate the beauty of Provence and the history of the area. Established in 1994 the campsite is less than 600 yards from the town centre, a gentle stroll past the ruins of a Roman town and its Roman theatre. We have 66 pitches as well as 16 Mobile Homes for rent situated on over 3 acres. The pitches are mainly separated by hedges interspersed with mature trees to provide partial shade. Our facilities include a heated swimming pool, a boules area and free Wi-Fi internet access. There is no organised entertainment for children !!! Réduire

fijne camping dicht bij het stadje en winkels de plekken niet erg ruim, paste net niet personeel vriendelijk en gehulpzaam. wordt veel georagnieseerd voor de camping gasten, eten, proeven, jeu de boule

de douche knop en afstelling, wat een tereurstelling, 5 keer ddrukken voor goede temeratuur, erg kort afgesteld waarna je opnieuw moet afstellen. verder wast het uitstekkend.

standplaats caravan. niet erg ruim, paste net niet. door de voortent om in de kofferruimte van de auto te kunne komen

Paar keer per week wijnproeverij en een foodcar. Aardige eigenaren. Heerlijk zwembad. Broodservice..Fijne ligging. Op loopafstand van vaison la romaine . Verder heel centraal voor uitstapjes. Winkels dichtbij

Grote kliek van vaste gasten.

Accommodation review :

Gezellige, complete mobilhome met lekkere stoeltjes op het terras. WiFi was dit jaar prima tov vorig jaar. Ligt misschien aan de plek?

Slaapkamer is krap. Opstaan is wat lastig.
