No negatives at all.

Well equipped, and very comfortable. Lots of space around the cabine as well. Nice veranda.

General information :
We are a family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 children aged 13 & 11. We holidayed with 2 other families of 4 with children of similar ages. We have been to some lovely campsites over the last 8 years but this holiday at camping du port has been the best to-date. The staff are happy, helpful and friendly and the campsite is very picturesque and so very calm and laidback. The proximity of the river and the really friendly local villages and towns and super kayaking facilities make this a wonderful location and campsite. A laidback, quiet and relaxed campsite.
Accommodation review :
The cooking facilities were excellent. Great shower, comfortable beds. The plot surrounding the Cabanes was spacious and nicely planted.
A few more hooks in the bathroom and 4 coat hooks in the make living area (perhaps left side of the fridge) are needed. Info regarding sheet sizes for mattresses and duvets would be useful.

General information :
The camping has a great mix of things to do. There is a lovely river with a shallow area without a current, so that was excellent for our small kids. Also the swimming pool was great as it has a shallow section as well. Furthermore there is a small playground, and next to the swimming pool there are many games to be played, such as pingpong, jeux de boules, table soccer, badminton. No need to bring your gears, its all there already. Then there is a nice bar for evening drinks and a tasty vegetarian burger with fries or large salade.
Accommodation review :
It was brand new. Everything was in good order. We had a very comfortable stay here. We did bring our own fan to cool the cabines extra for the night. That proofed to be a good choice as we were hit by a heatwave of 40+ degrees... Kitchen has a large fridge and freezer. There are good beds and a very nice rainfall shower.
The balkony floor can be a little too rough for babies that are not yet walking, only crawling. So you might want to bring a large blanket to cover the balkony floor.
