We loved this site. The staff, the pool, the layout, cleanliness - we were very happy here.
A shop with some basic supplies would have been good! The town is about a 15 minute walk away which can be a drag if the kids aren’t really up for it, and if you have a camper van you may not want to move it once set up.

Lovely campsite. We arrived at the end of the season so the site was very quiet. Just the way we like it. Fishing lake on site was great. Fished it 3 times and the best result was about 30 carp and 20 small roach all in just over 2 hours.

Schone, nette camping. Vriendelijke mensen die je met alles willen helpen. Ruime plekken, leuk zwembad.
De temperatuur van het water bij de afwas plekken is vaak koud of lauw. Deze zou duidelijk warmer mogen zijn. De jeu des boules baan en gym toestellen staan wat afgelegen en wat slordig. Zou leuk zijn als dit wat centraler komt te liggen. Iedereen zou er dan ook meer gebruik van maken.

After 6years of being away it was great to come back to the site, this time we brought our children and they loved the site and we didn't see them much as they were having so much fun. The team as always we great and so welcoming even after us not going for so long. I have been coming to this site for over 20years and every time it still feels like home. Der Campingplatz liegt sehr schön. Es ist nicht weit zum Meer, zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Freizeitaktivitäten. Inhaber und Personal sind stets freundlich. Die Sanitäranlagen werden dreimal täglich geputzt und sind sauber. Für Kinder gibt es viele verschiedene Spielmöglichkeiten: verschiedene Spielgeräte, eine Tischtennishalle und ein Feld, auf dem sie Fußball spielen können. Weiterhin gibt es Kinderanimation. Der Pool ist schön groß und die Kinder haben viel Spaß auf der Wasserrutsche. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Nice pool, large campsites with privacy and comfort, quiet area, close enough to visiting sites in Normandy.
The sanitary block further up the campsite is a bit older (missing toiletseats). And to bins in the womens toilet need a lit.

Mooie plek vlak bij de visvijver in een doodlopend straatje perfect voor onze samenstelling. Zwembad was een beetje koud op een dag van 21 graden maar toen het buiten warmer werd was het perfect om in af te koelen.

It’s a beautiful, quiet and family friendly site. Staff are friendly and very helpful and speak English. The facilities are all kept wonderfully clean, pitches are huge and the pool and slide are wonderful . This is not a big site which is why it has such a wonderful ambience about it. Access is easy and close to Cherbourg. Pretty small fishing pond.
Showers need an overhaul. Some press button ones last only a few seconds and others are longer. Some give a dribble and others are a very fine spray. Water needs to be hotter for pot washing , especially at the end of the day.

We hebben een hele fijne vakantie gehad met onze kinderen van 11, 13 en 15. Twee keer in de week was er een optreden van een bandje/singer songwriter, leuk voor ons als ouders. Voor de kids genoeg animatie, welke niet over the top was: gewoon boogschieten, een sport of spelactiviteit. Dit zorgde ervoor dat ze anderen leerden kennen. Zwembad heerlijk en veilig. Personeel heel vriendelijk en de bazen controleerden de hele dag door het sanitair. Mocht ik al eens denken: het lijkt wel of kleine kindjes naast het toilet hebben geplast, dan was het 10 minuten later al wel schoon.
Om 23 uur is het stil op de camping en daar fietsen de eigenaren zelf ook een extra rondje voor om te checken. Het enige wat wij zouden veranderen is de tegels voor de douches, die glad zijn. En de foodtrucks bieden helaas niet allemaal een vegetarische optie. Verder echt een fijne vakantie gehad op een mooie groene camping.

Wij (2 volwassenen en 3 kinderen) hebben genoten van onze vakantie. Goed ontvangen bij de receptie met goed engels sprekend personeel. Sanitaire voorzieningen waren goed, werd vaak goed schoongemaakt. De staanplek waar we stonden was netjes en groot. In de omgeving zijn genoeg leuke dingen te doen soms reistijd 30min-1u30min met de auto
De douches (in het achterste sanitairgebouw) voelden verouderd aan, geen fijne straal en moeilijk regelbaar. Ook geen toiletten met wcbril (voor comfort)

Fijne camping als je als gezin met kinderen op pad gaat. Voor de dochters van 12 en 14 was er 's avonds vaak wat te doen (voetbaltournooi, pingpongtournooi). Het zwembad met glijbaan is leuk, schoon en goed onderhouden. We hadden een ruime plek aan de rand van de camping, waardoor we veel privacy hebben ervaren. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

Een leuke middelgrote camping. Nederlanders, Britten en Fransen. Sanitair ( hoofdgebouw) was netjes 3x schoonmaak. Variatie aan eten , in de bar en foodtrucks. Leuke visvijver , je hebt altijd beet. Great helpful staff with a good variety of things to do, decent live music on some nights, nice pool and lake. shame the weather was very English during our stay but we managed to travel on those days to UTAH beach etc. so we would go back again in the future. The pitches were surrounded by hedges and that nicely mitigated some of the atrocious wet, windy weather
The weather (but not their fault). it also seems like a destination for the Dutch at times, pleasant as they were, they outnumbered the French and the English (during our stay anyway) and our kids struggled to make friends in the same way as a campsite in England.

Nous avons globalement bien séjourné dans ce camping familial. Les emplacements sont spacieux, les sanitaires correctement entretenus. C'est assez plaisant !
La différence entre les deux piscines du réseau dont l'une est privative avec un accès payant (pour un accès couvert et chauffé). Le flicage passé une certaine heure du soir pour limiter le bruit et le bavardage un peu trop "fort" c'est assez gênant et intrusif. La base, c'est la confiance !

Quite a small pitch for the size of our tent. The pitch sloped away on one side which meant we could only pitch our tent in one direction meaning the guys couldn’t go in the ground well because of the path. Quite shady late afternoon and evening.

For the Cafe,. Was disappointed with the menu choices, we were encouraged to take the food pots back to your Motorhome to eat. We also, thought that the music from the cafe was too loud to sit comfortably and enjoy your drinks. Would we come again…..yes, happy to come and stay again.

Everything so clean and looked after by Patrice and his team. Pool with slides and jacuzzi were great. 2 Supermarkets minutes away by car. Lovely market every Wednesday in the town. Plenty to see and do on-site and near by. You can hire a fridge which makes such as difference. Lovely lake to fish in and enjoy a pedalo ride.
Accommodation review :
Massive pitch, water and electric points close. The pitches near the lake are lovely for a relaxing view point to watch the ducks etc. Shower facilities etc not far at all from the pitch. Felt very safe.

Didn’t realise when booking that the snack bar closed so early in the season. I think maybe there could have been a variety of food nearly every day the board advertised Moules & fries

Refering the Bar Snack, I would love to have somebody in charge of this service and who would keep it open longer than we do, first weekend of July till last week end of August. Everyone was very friendly, there was lots for the children to do, the pool was fantastic and very clean.
We tried to rent a bbq as they were advertised for hire, but there wasn’t any left.

het was een niet te grote camping met een hele ruime plaats. we konden daar met caravan, auto en twee bijzet tentjes staan en hadden dan nog veel ruimte over. ook lekker veel privacy
Liever wc brillen in alle sanitair gebouwen. Dit was niet in het saniairgebouw waar wij het dicht bij stonden

Nous profitons de la proximité des commerces à La Haye du Puits. Lait, friandises, service pain et snack sur réservation sont proposés au camping. We really enjoyed the swimming pool and the older children especially enjoyed the water slides never too busy, the fishing on site went down well with all of us with smiles all round some lovely catches. Very friendly and clean. Lovely location to some beautiful days out. Can’t wait to rebook.

Lovely site clean, tidy, friendly staff. We even had a couple of washing up stations right next to our pitch so we didn't have to carry it all the way to the wash block.
Although lovely and clean and always hot the showers were not very powerful.

Heerlijke camping, alles altijd schoon, leuk en voldoende groot zwembad, vriendelijke medewerkers, kortom alles goed. Voor de niet-Franssprekende mensen, met Engels kom je er ook en de eigenaar probeert zelfs hier en daar een woordje Nederlands te spreken.
Het eten (snack) bij de bar was niet geweldig, maar in de buurt zijn genoeg andere eetgelegenheden.

We hadden een mooie ruime plek, ruim voldoende voor de afmetingen van onze tent (die je bij het reserveren moet doorgeven).

Er is veel te doen voor de kinderen en natuurlijk vinden ze het zwembad zeer leuk. Ook de visijver is een pluspunt, met zeer veel vis in. Elke visser kan er naar believen vissen en heeft altijd beet.

Wij hadden een plekje aan de visvijver. Echt geweldig. Wel met een boom maar daar waren we nu heel blij mee vanwege de warmte. Mensen zijn vriendelijk, animatie leuk en gevarieerd. Onze tieners zaten steeds met een groepje bij elkaar. Sanitair was echt schoon. Kortom een mooie, fijne camping!

Hele mooie camping met geel schoon sanitair en goede douches. De kampeerplekken zijn ongelofelijk groot en mooi recht. Leuk dorp met alle winkels die je nodig hebt, op fietsafstand. Alles is heel ruim opgezet.
Restaurant was in het voorseizoen niet open. Wel is het zo dat het dorp vlakbij, genoeg te bieden heeft.

Zeer prettige camping, niet te groot maar met een heleboel voorzieningen. We hadden een fijne ruime plek met voldoende schaduw. Er zijn veel uitstapjes mogelijk in de nabije omgeving. Het dorp heeft meerdere supermarkten, bakkers, slagers en ook restaurants dus je hoeft daar niet ver voor te reizen.
De wc potten zonder bril, maar dat was slechts in 1 gebouw, het andere was wel voorzien van wc brillen.
Accommodation review :
Ruime plek, wij hadden voldoende schaduw. Andere plekken hadden beduidend minder. We stonden naast een afwasplek en doordat het rustig was hadden we die ongeveer voor onszelf alleen.
Buren die de hele nacht door bleven praten, ondanks meermaals tot stilte manen door meerdere mensen. Gelukkig vertrokken ze de volgende dag (mogelijk door klagen bij de camping eigenaar).

Restaurant was heel erg beperkt in de keuze , 3 dingen. Het oudere sanitair gebouw kon wel wat vaker schoon gemaakt worden. Of lekker met water en sop gedaan worden. En dan ook wat gloor in de toiletten .

We hadden het erg naar onze zin, aangenaam verblijf op leuke, vriendelijke en gemoedelijke camping. Aanrader!
Beperkt dagelijks aanbod in bar, wordt wel gecompenseerd door BBQ-avond en mosselavond. Wel jammer dat vanaf dag 2 de cocktails niet meer voorradig waren.

Ontzettend propere camping. Rustig, zeker na het afgesproken uur is het altijd stil op de camping. Iedereen houdt zich heel goed aan de afspraken. Zwembad ideaal voor onze kinderen (6-8 jaar), niet te groot, niet te klein. Camping ideaal van grootte om kinderen alleen te laten spelen en niet continu bij hen te moeten blijven. Fijn contact met andere kampeergasten, fijne mix van verschillende nationaliteiten. Animatie dik in orde! Spraken geen Nederlands maar deden veel moeite om zich verstaanbaar te maken.

Super vriendelijk personeel. Animatie was in NL wat super is voor jonge kids. Erg schone en nette camping met royale plekken.

Large emplacement. Close enough to walk to town. Well maintained site. Website eady to use.
Expensive wi-fi. Whilst the site was well kept other campers often left the toilets unclean. I assume this was due to the large number of children onsite. The showers sprayed water everwhere and it was impossible to keep belongings dry. Our electricity supply was almost too far from our tent (we have a long lead)

Bedankt voor uw reactie, wij nemen uw feedback zeker in acht. De foto op de website van het zwembad is getrokken van bovenop de glijbanen en is niet bewerkt of getrukeerd. Onze excuses indien door deze foto het zwembad niet aan de verwachtingen voldeed. De kidsclub die elke dag op onze camping plaatsvindt is geschikt voor kinderen van 4 t.e.m. 12 jaar. Daarbuiten worden er ook verschillende activiteiten gepland voor de hele familie zoals sport toernooien of avondspecials (karaoke, crazy 75, spooktocht, bingo, etc.). Fijne kleine camping. Personeel (op 1 schoonmaakster na na) zeer vriendelijk. Er heerst een relaxte sfeer. Eigenaren helpen altijd mee en zijn niet te beroerd om in de avond nog toiletten schoon te maken. Leuke animatie, fijn zwembad voor kids, in de avond op tijd rustig.
Snacks zijn beneden maat... duur en erg vettig. Helaas geen lekker schepijs... alleen verpakt ijs wat duur is en de helft op is. Mopperige schoonmaakster is erg jammer... de rest van personeel erg vrolijk en zij liep alleen te mopperen. Jammer dat toiletpapier voor toiletgebruik gepakt moet worden. Douches geen fijne straal en vask lauw.

De eigenaren en het personeel zijn erg vriendelijk. Je ziet ze geregeld en zijn altijd aanspreekbaar. De douches zijn altijd warm en worden vaak schoongemaakt. Ruime plaatsen. De sfeer op de camping is prettig. Zeker geen massaal gevoel. Mooi zwembad en niet al te druk, ondanks het hoogseizoen. Er wordt genoeg georganiseerd.
Om dingen te doen, moet je toch steeds wat verder rijden. Er zijn weinig leuke dorpjes in de buurt.

Children's play area could be very noisy 8 -10pm. Too many inflatable toys in the pool, good policy toys allowed last 1.5 hours before closure in evening. Better ventillation in dish washing area.

Dog walking over pitches should not be allowed, separate area should be used.

The staff are sociable, helpful and polite. The site was very quiet at night The site is very well maintained
I was very concerned about the poor condition of the mouths of the fish. Please enforce that people use barbless hooks. Also some people did not use landing nets which caused the fish un-necessary distress.

Beautifully clean site. Staff very friendly and helpful. Our first week was before the big school holidays and was quite peaceful. Fishing was good, you can't fail to catch..
There is a need for checks to be made around the fishing lake that the rules are being followed. To many people using barbed hooks and generally having no respect for the fish. Also children under 12 should be supervised whilst fishing.

This was our 4th visit to this site all occasions being for 2 weeks. It is a very well managed site . Plenty for the kids to do, excellent entertainment. Quiet site at nights. The main toilet and shower block has been refurbished since we last stayed in 2015 which were excellent. All the staff are very courteous and hardworking and well managed by Patrice. We will be booking again for next year.

We vonden dit een leuke camping met ruime plaatsen, we hadden een plek met schaduw, die zijn er niet al te veel. Wat ouder sanitair maar absoluut schoon (4x per dag) Absoluut plus is de visvijver, die tjokvol zit dus zeker een werphengel meenemen als je dat leuk vind, gegarandeerd vangen van karper. De diverse D-day locaties (Utah beach, batterijen van Azeville) zijn de moeite waard. Als ook de andere stranden
De campingwinkel stelt weinig voor, vers brood is elke dag vooraf te bestellen, meerdere supermarkten in de buurt. De directe omgeving is niet al te veel te beleven , de stranden aan beide zijdes snel aantal rijden.

General information :
Mooie schone camping. Vriendelijk personeel. Om 23.00 uur is het stil op de camping. De lampen in de douche gaan uit waar je wel even raar van op kijkt maar de rust op de camping vergroot ermee.
Bij aankomst eten wij altijd iets patat. Bij jullie was de keuze daarin wel erg weinig.
Accommodation review :
Mooie plek, en mooi onderhouden gras. Bij regen geen last van grote plassen op de velden. Water liep goed weg.
Establishment response :
We are pleased you were satisfied with most of our services. The food service is still our problem, and we would need to extend the campsite to make a better service possible or to find a truck food. Lukily, we there are restaurants 1 km from the campsite, which I know is not sufficient. Welcome again, Patrice.

General information :
Schoon, gezellig, viswatertje, ruime kampeerplaatsen, vriendelijke medewerker, winkels en supermarkten vlakbij, (kiezel) strand 15-20 minuten rijden, landings(zand) beaches 50 minuten.
1 toiletgebouw heeft geen wc-brillen, en het wcpapier pak je voordat je het toilethokje in gaat. Dat is even wennen, wel mooi roze :-)
Accommodation review :
Rustig, kleinschalig, viswater met heel veel vis. Je vist zonder weerhaak.
Mijn tieners moesten even wennen aan het dragen van een speedo in het zwembad (verplicht) maar die kan je voor 8,50 daar kopen. Zwembad was wat kleiner dan verwacht (maar groot genoeg voor deze kleine camping) en het overdekte zwembad is niet op de camping zelf maar erbuiten.

Bedankt dat u de vragenlijst heeft beantwoord, wij hopen dat uw gezin het erg naar hun zin hebben gehad op onze camping. Wij hebben de review doorgenomen en kwamen erachter dat u niet volledig tevreden was over onze animatie. Wij vroegen ons af waar dat dan aan zou liggen. Wij hebben verschillende animatieprogramma's voor jong en oud, die 6 dagen per week lopen. Wij hebben het campingkids programma met bijvoorbeeld theater, verven, zwembadfeestjes, speurtochten en bordspelletjes. Ook hebben wij het campingfamily programma dat bestaat uit voetbal, pingpong, bingo- en karaoke-avonden, pijl en boog schieten, disco en hebben wij elke week een artiest die komt optreden op onze camping. Het grootste gedeelte van onze reviews zijn ook op het gebied van animatie erg positief. Wij willens ons als camping altijd blijven verbeteren dus als er suggestisch zijn, zullen wij de zeker in overweging nemen. Wellicht tot de volgende keer, Patrice
