General information :
We were able to walk to Venosc from the camp site, this was pretty and welcoming. We took the cable car to Les Deux Alpes, this is a must visit town and then took 3 more cable cars up to the glacier! This was breathtaking and not to be missed, even if you are only in the region for one day. The views to Mont Blanc, summer snow and awe inspiring mountaint- an exceptional memory . The added bonus is that the campsite is within ‘warm-up’ reach of Alpe d’huez for those who want a cycling challenge.
