General information :

We love camp de Florence. It is in our view the best camp site in France and we’ve stayed in many. It’s quiet. Huge pitches and space / privacy. The staff are all so lovely and helpful and friendly. The food and drink is priced appropriately and great quality. The local areas of the Gers is just stunning. We love the walks and visits to local towns, villages and cities. La Romieu itself is simply stunning and has the most amazing épicerie which sells literally everything!

We miss the cider and the spaghetti bolognaise from the menu! (Clutching at straws here!)

Accommodation review :

Wonderful lodge- spacious, well equipped, modern and very well maintained. The plot with all its space was incredible. Loads of privacy and lovely views beyond

Not a dislike but an iron would be useful (I didn’t ask if you can hire one having said this!)

Prachtige camping, Zeer gezellig en lief Internationaal personeel Ned/Eng/Fr. Mooi zwembad, Goed gratis Wifi. Mooi terras en goed restaurant. Gelegen naast een heel mooi dorpje La Romieu. Waar je de kerktoren kan beklimmen. Prachtige omgeving met in de zomer de zonnebloemen. Prachtige dorpjes, leuke marktjes, Armagnac, Floc de Casgogne. (Zo lekker)

General information :

Reception and staff were the friendliest and most helpful I’ve encountered in 30 years camping. Plots are huge (stayed in a rental) and feel very private, the restaurant was delicious with fast service, the pool isn’t huge but it doesn’t feel busy, sports facilities are good, and evening entertainment available and if decent quality. Really enjoyed our stay.

The campsite was as advertised, and better in many respects.

Accommodation review :

It was well laid out inside, the air con was a plus. The plot size was really big, with grass all around for the kids to play, and it felt private/sheltered with no immediate neighbours or vistas.

General information :

Séjour au top avec calme au camping. mobil home bien placé sur emplacement ombragé. Piscine très sympa pour les enfants. La Romieu très beau village avec sa collégiale et ses jardins.

Si nous devons trouvé un point négatif c’est le rideau dans la chambre enfant qui ne cache pas assez la lumière.

Personnel très chaleureux que ce soit à l’accueil, au restaurant ou à l’entretien. La région est toujours aussi belle.

Emplacement spacieux bien délimité on se croit chez soi. Réveil au chant des oiseaux, visite d’un écureuil, bref les plaisirs de la nature. Sanitaires propres. Régulièrement nettoyés.

Sanitaires un peu trop éloignés.
