Pigeon feathers all over the pitch. I suspect a fox had one od the pigeons before we were on the pitch

Other British people staying usually overnight. Gives you a chance to have a chat about where you have been or going to.

The first pitch we were given was away from the main area despite being vacant pitches. We went back to reception and they moved us to a better pitch. There are a lot of trees giving shade but I think some of these could do with thinning out as you could be in shade all day! It's not as hot and sunny in Calais compared to the south of France!

It's as described. You can pitch your Motorhome or Caravan anyway you like. Unlike the regimented UK sites.

Brilliant for tunnel crossing,short walk into Guines with restaurants bars Boulangerie and patisserie,easy check in large site with plenty of room swimming pool looked very inviting too

Great pitch - we were in a motorhome. Asked for a large quiet pitch and very helpful woman on reception showed us a few to choose from.

Food at the snack bar was very average. Had a pizza which wasn't a freshly made individual pizza - more a frozen put in the oven type. Loud music was playing outside the bar which was totally unnecessary. I asked the guys in the bar if it could be turned down and it was but the bar manager was not happy about it (or anything judging by her demeanour). Everyone else was friendly and helpful.

We have been coming to this site for years now. Sometimes for a couple of nights, sometimes for a week, and we have always had a lovely time. Staff are always friendly and helpful, pitches are a great size and clean, neat and tidy, facilities are well kept and the bar, pool and restaurant are lovely too. The village and surrounding area is great too…we once went to Bruges for the day. We would recommend this site to young and old as there is something for everyone.
