Ce camping est bien situé. Proche des plages du débarquement.

Ce camping est calme et reposant, le s terrains de jeux centralisés permettent de garder un œil sur les ados qui jouent, les blocs sanitaires sont proches des emplacements, le personnel est super gentil, l'épicerie, le restaurant sont un plus non négligeable. La vue depuis la piscine est superbe. L'animation grillade de chamalllows a bien plus à notre fils.

Le bloc sanitaire de l'allée est un peu vieillissant mais nous avons changé de bloc sanitaire pour celui derrière le restaurant et il était top.

Het is een mooie, rustige camping met goede voorzieningen, waaronder kleine winkel en restaurant, zwembad en speelgelegenheid voor kinderen. De sanitaire voorzieningen zijn goed en worden netjes en schoongehouden. De kampeerplekken zijn groot en ruim opgezet met veelal schaduw van bomen. Het personeel is allervriendelijkst.

The setting was lovely. We were fortunate to have a quiet area for our tent and what little time we spent in the 'grounds' was really very pleasant.

Restaurant politeness, service & sincerity. It takes more than just speaking English to be made welcome. The swimming pool is kept very clean, but is closed longer than it is open. This seems excessive and a request for early access for a 'workout swim' (before the kids rightly enjoy the facility) was refused for illogical reasoning - it doesn't take 13,5 hours a day to clean a pool. Disappointing.

Accommodation review :

Despite how full the campsite was, we still felt close to nature and were grateful/relieved at how quiet the site was. Including in the evening.

Better control of people taking up too much space. The access to our nearest toilet and the restaurant/reception etc was encroached on by a group (2 or 3 families) who arrived and were intent on taking up every entitled square centimeter, and more. It was so obviously 'wrong' and went against the friendliness & community-feel which we had initially remarked upon. And this behaviour seemd to encourage others in the area to also bring their cars nearer their tents/caravans etc. Making the area too busy and unnecessarily 'unpleasant'.

The Chateau and grounds were beautiful! Surpassed our expectations, as a first camping trip in France it was perfect!!!

Pitch was perfect, on the walls of the château garden we felt involved but also nicely tucked away! The bathrooms were well kept and the pool was clean and welcoming!

Unser Aufenthalt auf dem Chateau war einfach großartig. Der Zeltplatz war wunderschön, groß und doch gemütlich, das Personal war freundlich und unaufgeregt und die Lage zwischen Caen und Bayeux ist für Ausflüge genial. Die Ausstattung (Tennisplatz, Fußballwiese, Badmintonnetze, Schwimmbad, ...) war genau das, was wir gesucht haben. Die Bar/Restaurant waren ebenfalls klasse.

Da fällt uns wirklich nichts ein.

De rust en de ruimte op de camping

Dat het waterkraantje bij de overburen achter hun tent stond..Ik vond het niet prettig dat ik steeds over het terrein van andere kampeerders moest opsom water te halen.

Good site , lovely location, handy for bateaux, clean tidy , well run. A truly international feel.

There is nothing within walking distance, even a bit far for cycling.

Good size , shaded by trees. Plenty of space .

Some areas of common use need defining. I.e . Where there is access to water or pathways to the toilet block, some people have blocked this with tents cars etc. can make it a bit awkward.
