We stayed here on 6th August 2020 for one night Pizza takeaway was nice but small portions for the prices play park is great for younger children with wooden adventure playground and trampolines Generally good facilities for campers but not the best we’ve been to Little goat pen with two goats amused the kids greatly 5 stars probably for the hotel side of things
We were kept awake in our tent until 2am by whooping and cheering from an organised event which at times involved screaming and yelling with excitement. As we used this as an overnight stop after 12 hours driving it was extremely unhelpful and very tiring Out pitch was extremely sandy so we had a tent and shoes full of sand the whole stay. Overall better experience than a classic motel/ b&b option but wish we’d got more sleep!

Given your VERY negative and numerous comments on all our services, did you really enjoy the estate and its atmosphere or were you just tired after a long journey? You post a negative opinion on all points and you even reproach us for having sand in the forest and therefore in your tent! Take your shoes off before entering. It's a simple solution that for the next time can improve your comfort. On the other hand, I see that you post your opinion 20 days after coming 1 night. Your opinion does not reflect the many positive opinions we have. Are you sure you are not confusing this with another establishment? I am not going to repeat all your opinions here but I strongly advise you to come and enjoy the benefits of Chanteloup for at least 1 week and I would be pleased in this case to welcome you personally to show you the benefits. Lekker relaxed
Honden in het restaurant, verschrikkelijk! Toiletgebouw was niet altijd schoon zoals we gewend waren.

Lekker rustig en grote plek
Goed, af en toe vieze lucht vd wc’s. Stroom moet over de weg heen. Daar rijden ze elke keer over heen.

We will discuss the problem of the dog with the restaurant manager. We pay particular attention to the cleanliness of the toilets and showers and we take your remark very seriously. They are cleaned and disinfected several times a day but an accident is always possible. You could have come to see us so that we can intervene quickly. Heerlijke camping met veel ruimte en rust. Meer dan genoeg te doen voor de kinderen en ook de volwassen.
Kwaliteit van het eten van het restaurant op de camping was beneden mijn verwachtingen.

This year is a particularly difficult year for camping and running a restaurant. Two months ago, we didn't know if the campsite would be able to open, so we had to adapt with the staff in the kitchen and in the dining room. Een mooie, ruim opgezette camping. Ruime standplaatsen. Mooi en schoon sanitair. Bij het restaurant kun je lekker eten voor een goede prijs. Erg vriendelijk personeel. Een echte aanrader! Wij komen hier zeker nog een keer terug.

The only thing our 8 year old moaned about was that we didn't stay longer. The pool, with grass around it is so much more comfortable and homely than the usual concrete and the lake was a great bonus. Our son and friends children loved taking the boat out and our son was able to go fishing to his great delight (although he didn't catch anything?) The little shop is reasonably well stocked and although we didn't try it on this occasion the menu at the restaurant looked lovely and the tables outside and well spaced for COVID
Shower areas felt a little old but perfectly serviceable

The view and the space! The cosines of the castle’s parvise! THE EVENING (MAINLY THE BARBECUE) FULLY ORGANIZED BY THE MANAGING TEAM (named pertinently: The Dream Team!). It was a bit pricy for a campsite but IT DID WORTH THE PRICE! ++ The clientele was all adorable (and mostly fiddle to the site for quite a few year)! Now the is one more family among them!
Swimming pool was quite cold for young kid (even with neoprene overalls)! The young lady relocated us three times before finding our pitch (first one given to us was occupied the second one found to be book for someone a few minutes later but the third one was OK)! The lady in charge of the kids activities did not speak French!

Het rustige plein, en de mooie schaduwplaats (V11).
De hygiëne in de kleine sanitaire ruimte was OK, maar we hebben verschillende malen aangegeven dat het desinfecterend middel niet meer voorradig was en deze werd niet aangevuld. In deze COVID-tijd is dt jammer. Dan hebben we eigen middelen gebruikt.
Accommodation review :
Zeer ruime plaats, met veel schaduw. In periodes met minder mooi weer misschien iets te weinig zonlicht maar voor ons was het wel OK.
Enkele dode takken in de bomen die bij stormweer misschien schade kunnen toebrengen aan de kampeerder en zijn materiaal.
