General information :
L'atmosphère de ce camping est très agréable, on se sent tout de suite bien. Les nouveaux propriétaires sont très investis pour que chacun passe un bon séjour. Nous étions avec notre petite fille de 2 ans qui a adoré la piscine, la ferme à l'entrée du domaine et le village des enfants. Notre chien a pu courir dans les bois du domaine avec grand plaisir. On s'est tout de suite senti en vacances et nous étions déçus de ne pas pouvoir rester plus longtemps !
Accommodation review :
Nous avions un très bel emplacement avec beaucoup d'espace et une belle vue sur le château. Le positionnement des emplacements en cercle est très agréable.

We stayed for one night on our trip south to break up the journey and one on the way home and we were excited to be going back to beautiful Château Chanteloup. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, they were only too happy to move our pitch to a more shaded spot on our return trip. The facilities were excellent/ spotless and the pool is absolutely beautiful. The children loved the play areas and they spent hours feeding the goats! We just wished we had more time to explore the chateau and area.
Our meals were perfectly satisfactory at the restaurant but slightly disappointing compared to the standard of everything else. The menu is quite limited and our food was all slightly over cooked. On our return we didn’t have time to eat out so tried the restaurant again and the salad was much better. The wine however was very good.

Honden in het restaurant, verschrikkelijk! Toiletgebouw was niet altijd schoon zoals we gewend waren.

Lekker rustig en grote plek
Goed, af en toe vieze lucht vd wc’s. Stroom moet over de weg heen. Daar rijden ze elke keer over heen.

We will discuss the problem of the dog with the restaurant manager. We pay particular attention to the cleanliness of the toilets and showers and we take your remark very seriously. They are cleaned and disinfected several times a day but an accident is always possible. You could have come to see us so that we can intervene quickly. Heerlijke camping met veel ruimte en rust. Meer dan genoeg te doen voor de kinderen en ook de volwassen.
Kwaliteit van het eten van het restaurant op de camping was beneden mijn verwachtingen.

Two months ago, we didn't know if the campsite would be able to open, so we had to adapt with the staff in the kitchen and in the dining room. Een mooie, ruim opgezette camping. Ruime standplaatsen. Mooi en schoon sanitair. Bij het restaurant kun je lekker eten voor een goede prijs. Erg vriendelijk personeel. Een echte aanrader! Wij komen hier zeker nog een keer terug.

The only thing our 8 year old moaned about was that we didn't stay longer. The pool, with grass around it is so much more comfortable and homely than the usual concrete and the lake was a great bonus. Our son and friends children loved taking the boat out and our son was able to go fishing to his great delight (although he didn't catch anything?) The little shop is reasonably well stocked and although we didn't try it on this occasion the menu at the restaurant looked lovely and the tables outside and well spaced for COVID
Shower areas felt a little old but perfectly serviceable
