The hosts and dream team were very friendly and welcoming. Our group was glad to see only small positive changes withy one exception below. Keeping the wide spaces is a positive along with the friendly local baker, pool, bar and TV screen for following Le Mans all a positive. Thanks to the cleaning team for keeping the bathroom areas well maintained

The only negative comments I received from our group and which led some questions about returning next year were related to the loud music playing until 2am on the Friday night. The party and car show are great but when only 10 men are in the bar and loud music is disturbing many peoples sleep it left a bad feeling for the future. In the past music would play will about 12.30 which as fine but 2am when many people are planning a long day and night at the track was not a good experience. Our group would like to know this is being addressed for 2023 before re-booking for next years Le Mans.

Provision of fridge as an option, nice pitches and space, access to electricity are all very important. We were on C05-7 and enjoy the location, view of the trees, house etc

Being back after 2 years away due to covid.

The whole place was looking a little tired and unloved. Having stayed here every year since 2000 (last 2 excluded due to covid), I love chateau chanteloup. I would always thoroughly recommend it as a wonderful place to say. Having said that, it does seem to have been ‘let go’ a little. It needs time spent on caring for the grounds - hedges desperately need a good trim, grass needs taking care of and the whole site needs a good weeding. A team of gardeners could have it looking too top in a week or two. Please don’t take this as negative review, more constructive criticism

My group of friends have been coming to your campsite for the 24hr Le Mans for twelve years now. Thoroughly enjoy the stay every time, beautiful location and a warm welcome as ever, thank you.

The hog roast was not acceptable. Dominique used to produce a stunning bbq with a choice of meats and vegetables. We had no idea what the starter was, the pork was served by youths who were not separating out grissle from meat, beans were the only choice of vegetable, but as soon as we had finished ours, chips suddenly appeared. 5 out of the 8 of us had not been before, but myself and other veterans were very excited about the Sunday BBQ and encouraged them all to buy tickets. That was embarrassing. One of them abandoned it and bought a separate meal at the restaurant for a further 20 euros.

The food this year was bad. Friday's steak was awful and service so slow I missed some of the car show. Sunday's hog roast was poor, I hate queuing and there was little left by the time I got there. Russian salad and some bread is not an accompaniment to a hog roast. For 29 Euros I expect better. And the bread was all gone by the time I wanted cheese.

Very friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Very welcoming staff. Pricing was clear and paid up front. Excellent entertainment.

Grass was not as good as in previous years. A few times there was no soap in the dispensers.
