General information :

Pitch was ok but considering place was booked out we made do. Son met lots of friends and had a ball. Arranged events on the Terrace were good.

Not happy with on site Restraunt as it is poorly operated. Sadly it reflects on overall experience although not run by Chateau owners.

There is a reason that so many people come back year after year; it has everything you could possibly want. Beautiful surroundings, big pitches, wonderful team who run it. We ll be back again.

The pitches in the wood are large and benefit from shade in the heat of the day.

This was our sixth visit to chanteloup & our first since the new owners have taken over. There wasn't the warm welcome that was usually given from Dominic & the dream team - in fact we had to find someone to come to the reception area ! This was the case on a number of occasions when we went to reception.The staff were helpful but that unique friendly family feel has gone.We also noticed the hedging around the pool area was unkept & missing in some areas & grass was also brown in areas - This was always such a beautiful area with the hedges/planting grass immaculately kept .

The pool area looking unkept - no supervision around the pool area & children were on one occasion throwing the chairs into the pool - I did go to reception to advise but no action was taken.On past visits you would always see staff wonder around this area ,we saw no one over the week we were there.

These are a great addition to Chanteloup - love our stay in them they have everything you could possibly need.

Fijne camping, prettig personeel, grote plekken met veel privacy.

Betrekkelijk veel doorloop (overnachtingslocatie voor doorreizen). Zou mooier zijn als die gescheiden worden van de rest.

Een heerlijke sprookjesachtige plek waar een ongedwongen sfeer heerst. Een plek waar heel het gezin het naar zijn zin had. Een camping waar we graag weer terug willen komen.

Sanitair vonden wij niet heel hygiënisch. De winkel is erg duur en het assortiment zeer klein dus je moet wel elke dag even langs een supermarkt. Dat is jammer.

Accommodation review :

De plekken waren ruim. De volgende keer zullen we voor een veld kiezen zodat kinderen onderling ook sneller contact kunnen zoeken.

Very peaceful, beautiful, large amount of space. I liked that there were activities organised in the evenings by the hosts, which made the experience social and fun. I also liked the good atmosphere. We received great reception when we arrived from Max and throughout our stay he was excellent in making the stay memorable.

The restaurant was really bad; food and service was not on par with the rest of the experience.

Accommodation review :

I like the large space we got for our tent and that it was good distance to neighbouring pitches. Beautiful view, landscape and environment.

The ground was very hard, which made it difficult to pick up the tent pegs/poles.
