De tent was ruim ervan alle gemakken voorzien.

Een picknickbank zonder rugsteun is niet zo comfortabel. Ik miste een comfortabele bankje of stoel.

Fantastic facilities, beautiful setting, great atmosphere, and lots of things to do! A really family-friendly site, where children are safe to explore and make friends.

Our pitch was very sandy (it got everywhere!)

Staying at Chateau de Chanteloup was wonderful. The site is beauitful - spacious, well-maintained and with all you need. The people are friendly, helpful and seem to enjoy their work, which makes the atmosphere great. The local area is peaceful, pretty and yet still close to everything you might need.

I liked that plants were used to demarcate each pitch - we were next to a beauitful rose bush! We made a request to be in a specific field and this was accommodated.

This was the fifth time we stayed here and I'm pleased that it maintains it low key, relaxing environment.

Bosrijke camping met prima faciliteiten en sfeervol kasteelgebouw

Er is maar 1 sanitair gebouw. Vanuit het bos ver lopen. Sanitair is redelijk basic, douches niet goed warm en niet zo schoon. Zwembad bij warme dagen klein voor capaciteit camping.

Standplaats in bos is heel mooie en schaduwrijk.

A lovely campsite with everything you need.

We stayed in the woods which is peaceful but the sand is a muddy dirty sandy making it difficult to keep everything clean. It rained and went everywhere the children's entertainers need more energy to engage the children. They seem unexperienced so the children are quite shy. They enjoy the games but soon get bored as need to mix up the activities more.

Accommodation review :

Our pitch was perfect as private and quiet, it would be good to have water on the pitch as you have to find a tap near by.

Its a shame the pitches don't have more grass as it can get very dirty. The only grass areas are on the main fields where it is busy.

Wonderful holiday again with Valerie and Benoit and the amazing dream team. My teenagers thoroughly enjoyed the new activities for this year including the Chanteloup Olympics and the Casino night. Can’t wait book again for 2025

The toilet blocks were not as clean as they could have been this year, particularly the block located at the entrance to the site which often lacked toilet paper and hand soap, however, they were very busy and didn’t spoil our stay at all.

General information :

Beautiful campsite surrounding a charming castle. The campsite has quite a few pitches, but never feels like a large campsite due to the pitches and other accomodations being so spread out. The saturday evening bbq is wonderful. So was casino night.

We went wakeboarding, as offered by the campsite on their entertainment board. We met a reception at the agreed time. In the end we were just given the address of where to go. We drove ourselves, and made our own booking for the normal price. What was the point of this being 'organised' by the campsite? We would have preferred to go by ourselves at a time of our choosing.

Accommodation review :

Very large pitch, all day sun. Shade to be found nearby. Only the edges of the field are available for camping which leaves the rest open for playing games etc. Which was perfect for the kids (and ourselves).

Main toilet building is a bit of a walk.
