We had a fabulous stay & felt great due to few pitches being occupied! Extremely friendly staff, great restaurant (if a little expensive), great bar & the facilities cannot be faulted. Met some lovely people & Rosie dog catered for!

Atmosphere and vibe was great, and the fact the kids managed to play without using technology. We had a lovely stay

Toilets were often dirty. It feels like that block needs modernisation. Onsite shop was very poorly stocked and rarely open. Even when it was it was very overpriced. Things like, eggs and bacon should be in there. The restaurant situation is odd - doesnt seem to be part of the Chanteloup. Enjoyed the pizzas but the main menu is dated and overpriced. I heard a few people saying they would not go back as the food was poor Kids club isnt what is what like 5 years ago. No only an hour and the activities were poor You DESPERATELY need CCTV at the exit (by the animals) and entrance .

De sfeer is bijzonder prettig. Prima voorzieningen. Zeer prettige wijze van communiceren met alle medewerkers.

Leuke inrichting van beide "glamping" tenten.

De keuken was niet compleet ingericht (bij ons bijv. geen wasteil, bij anderen zagen we die wel). Geen goede tent rondom de keuken (bij de anderen wel). O.a. windgevoelig (kou ervaring) en vooral onveilig stroom i.c.m. regen.

We loved the layout of the site, how much there was to do, how helpful and friendly the staff were and the pool!

De camping is prachtig en handig ingedeeld, zodat je dicht bij van alles bent, maar door de vele bomen heb je weinig geluidsoverlast van bv het zwembad of speeltuin.. Hele mooie ruime plekken en de hele omgeving goed onderhouden, maar met ook veel niet ingevulde ruimte, wat maakt dat je echt het gevoel hebt dat je in een bos zit en voor de kinderen dat ze op avontuur kunnen. Het pleintje voor het kasteel, bij de bar is heel sfeervol. Hetzelfde geldt voor het zwembad en de speeltuin (met te gekke kabelbaan).

De winkel is zelden open en er is eigenlijk niets te koop, ook niet bijvoorbeeld iets lekkers of regionale producten. Jammer! Het restaurant was niet zo lekker en de bediening een beetje vreemd. De activiteiten die georganiseerd werden waren vooral voor kleine kinderen, onze tweede week werd er (behalve de kids club) niets meer georganiseerd. De jonge dames van de receptie waren vriendelijk, maar uitzonderingen daargelaten nogal passief. Het wifi netwerk deed het 1,5 week niet, waarover minimale communicatie, geen excuses en geen pro-actieve actie (bv mogelijkheid om computer te gebruiken).

Mooi, nieuw, handige luiken, aparte wc. Redelijk schoon en heel leuk gelegen.

Te weinig haken om iets aan te hangen, geen gordijntjes op veranda, waardoor je bij avondeten in volle zon zit,

Been to Chateau de Chanteloup a number of times, always get a friendly and helpful welcome to this lovely site. Well sized pitches, nice clean facilities and a lovely pool.

Lovely campsite, lots to do for the kids, really nice vibe, we'll definitely come again.

Despite reserving bikes there was a mixup and they weren't available when we came to collect them.

Really nice spot, easy access to electricity, felt very peaceful.

Another family were placed about 1 meter away from us despite the rest of the field being completely empty. I think people should be given more freedom to choose a pitch rather than having to stick to their reserved spot.

Toiletten kunnen wat frisser ruiken, meer schoonmaken of meer luchtverfirissers gebruiken .
