De ruime opzet van de camping rondom het landhuis

Toilet voorziening was erg ver weg, het was fijn geweest als er bij het zwembad een afgeschermd schaduwrijk stukje was geweest waar hond eigenaren de hond een mee hadden kunnen nemen. (Bijvoorbeeld r Linkerzijde van het zwembad)

Het was een schaduwrijke plek, maar in de zon zitten was ook mogelijk door de prachtige ruimte om de camper heen

First time staying really really like it, going to be my first choice for the future.

The meal on the Sunday, for 28 euro there was simply not enough food. All the food i.e. the roast pig was very nice just not enough.

Just a lovely location, in the woods and all service close by.

Relaxed site with good facilities, some upkeep to catch up on but still very enjoyable. Staff and reception team are excellent and very helpful. Anything to please was evident and greatly appreciated.

Pitch was our choice but grass all gone so very muddy when wet, having been for many years it’s clear new owners have a list of things they wish to do. Quite a bit overgrown on the trees and gardens around the pool compared to previous times but still a lovely site. Sure the new owners will get through the list of things to do after covid years. Our meal at the restaurant did not meet previous experiences.

The layout of pitches is great and allocation size of pitch is brilliant but some pitches need to take account when of the unit size to get onto them .

Muddy pitch that meant it was bad when wet and couldn’t really enjoy sitting outside. Got a bit tacky under foot. Disturbed by some young adults enjoying a long weekend at night but managers personally apologised and to be fair it was exciting talk amongst the youngsters, not heavy music or bad behaviour- just a bit of enthusiastic time and a lack of respect for others on the site. Probably pitch either needs reseeding or changing to an all weather gravel pitch due to location.. hope feedback helps as it’s meant to be supportive for future growth of the business.

Met by Valerie the owner of the Chateau who was extremely welcoming, friendly and spoke perfect English. A very personal experience, it felt like we were invited guests to the family home. The Chateau has various types of accommodation and pitches, within the woodland or on open fields with lovely views of the Chateau. A bar and separate pool room within the house, restaurant, beautiful swimming pool set within gardens. Really couldn’t fault it and already planning a return visit. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful too.
