Wunderschöner Campingplatz in einem Schloss Park. Die Atmosphäre ist einzigartig. Die Bar war abends ein stilvoller Treffpunkt und es war fantastisch bei sommerlichen Temperaturen vor dem Schloss zu sitzen. Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt und stilvoll. Den Pool habe ich bei den sehr heißen Tagen genossen. Sehr sauber und von einer schönen Liegewiese umgeben.

Die Qualität des Essen im Restaurant war so medium. Der Burger war noch okay, etwas lauwarm aber lecker. Die Pizza war wirklich nicht gut. Eindeutig convienience und das für 13 Euro. Ehrlich, das Essen , dass die Mitarbeiter mittags bekamen, sah besser aus :(

Accommodation review :

Auf unseren Hinweis, dass wir zwei Hunde dabei haben, bekamen wir einen tollen schattigen Platz, obwohl der Campingplatz ausgebucht war und wir sehr spät für Le Mans gebucht hatten. Vielen Dank! Auf den großen Rasenflächen werden die Fahrzeuge und Zelte nur am Rand aufgestellt und obwohl der Platz ausgebucht war, wirkte er dadurch nicht überfüllt.

Im Sanitärgebäude direkt am Eingang wäre eine weitere Dusche toll. Mehr Duschen, weniger Waschbecken.

Loved the layout of the pitches and the space provided. Loved that you can request the area you want so that you get the sunny or shady pitch you want. Great for walking the dogs.

Enjoyed bar area but did not find restaurant area appealing as looked dark & not particularly atmospheric. Toilets & showers ok but 1 block not in use and long walk to main block

Die Rezeption war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Ambiente insgesamt ist außergewöhnlich und der Pool bei Hitze sehr gut.

Die WC und Waschanlagen sind weit unter den angegebenen 4,5 Sternen! Das Wasser bei den Geschirrspülen wird maximal lauwarm, eine vernünftige Reinigung ist damit nicht möglich, am WC gibt es überhaupt nur Kaltwasser, in den Waschräumen dafür keine Seife und keine Möglichkeit zum Abtrocknen. Ein weiteres Ärgernis sind die andauernd bellenden Hunde von einigen Gästen.

Die Waschräume renovieren und hundefreie Platzzone schaffen, bzw. problematische Hundebesitzer nicht zulassen.

Some of the toilets near the entrance could have been checked a little more often in case cleaning was required as a few times they were pretty bad. The facilities up by Chateau building were much better.

It was via Lodging i think, it was convenient, your staff quickly provided a fridge / bbq as there seemed to be some confusion as to what should or perhaps isn’t provided???

Maybe the location - would have preferred to be nearer Chateau building

Coming back year after year to Chanteloup is something we look forward to immensely. It never disappoints.

The new timed men’s showers, we realise it preserves water but it’s just not preferable.

The reception area was not very welcoming on arrival, in fact we had to find someone. It is a shame that the information about the wildlife on the site is no longer available.
