Kurz vor der Hauptsaison konnten wir absolute Ruhe auf dem riesigen Waldstellplatz genießen. Neben dem sehr freundlichen Servicepersonal schienen alle Gäste sehr zufrieden aufgrund der schönen Atmosphäre in dem parkähnlichen, abwechslungsreichen, naturnahen Areal.

Evtl. etwas bessere Beleuchtung an dem Wegabschnitt am Übergang von den Waldplätzen zu den Toiletten

Accommodation review :

Der Stellplatz war sehr, sehr groß, im Halbschatten gelegen, einfach perfekt, die Wasserstelle direkt gegenüber und der Stromabschluss in direkter Nähe.

Die Bäume in der Nähe der Stellplätze von Zeit zu Zeit überprüfen: in der Nähe des Nachbarplatzes ist ein Baum plötzlich mit lauten Krachen umgestürzt, Gitt sei Dank nur in die Büsche.

Family shower was cold. The paths from the wooded pitches to facilities have no lights.

Restaurant / Geschäft braucht Verbesserung. Sortiment im Geschäft sehr schlecht, Speisekarte sehr basic, könnte sehr viel besser sein! Kein Fahrradverleih.

There is always a friendly welcome at Chanteloup for Le Man week when car enthusiasts mainly from the UK attend for this special week. The proprietors Valery and Benoit provide additional entertainment such as the car show on Friday with buffet and the hog roast on Sunday for those returning on Monday. This weekend is specifically for Le Mans enthusiasts rather than family holidaymakers. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

There was nothing to dislike but there are areas where further improvements are possible. The evening dinner outside restaurant could be expanded to accommodate more diners. Maybe add breakfast at the restaurant in addition to the sale of bread and croissants. Some of the dream team need to improve their barrista skills .

Accommodation review :

It was camping so much of the luxury is down to the camper to provide. Le Mans week is busy so there isn't always a choice of pitch.

There could be more toilets for pitches further from the centre. These get a lot of use so need frequent maintenance in addition to cleaning.
