Pool and play area top quality

Toilet facilities I understand having one block down but when we arrived the toilet block did not smell very nice. It did improve over the nxt day or two

Les personnes dévouées, à l'écoute, toujours disponibles et des équipements de grande qualité dans une propreté absolue. Le tout dans un paysage et un environnement exceptionnel, tant préhistorique que touristique. Merci à toute l'équipe du Paradis, et particulièrement aux quatre mousquetaires, les anges mécaniciens du Paradis dont la gentillesse, la disponibilité sont exceptionnelles. Merci

A well run and friendly campsite in the heart of the Dordogne, close to many attractions and points of interest, along with good services in nearby Montignac. The site is clean, tidy and beatifully maintained with excellent swimming pools and bar/ restaurant area. The site has a friendly atmosphere with staff and owners always available for advice and guidance. We last visited Le Paradis 40 years ago, when much younger, and it's lovely to see that whilst the campsite and facilities have been well maintained and updated during this time, the friendly, family atmosphere remains the same

Only one toilet block was functioning as the other is currently being refurbished, but the site kindly relocated us closer to the available sanitary facilities. However, having only one sanitary block and a full camp site put a lot of pressure on it causing a lack of hot water and smells on occassions

Accommodation review :

The pitch was spacious and flat with good shade and sun throughout the day. Water and electricity were both on the pitch

Even though it is early in the season the pitch was bare of grass over a large area and it was clear that it would be muddy if there was significant rain.

De plek voor de camper aangrenzend aan het bamboo afscheiding.

Onvoldoende sanitair i.v.m. verbouwing nieuw sanitair blok. Hierdoor flinke afstand om sanitair te bereiken waarvan ook regelmatig toiletblokken zijn afgesloten i.v.m. schoonmaken op tijden waarop de meeste gasten gebruik willen maken daarvan.

Sehr gepflegter, schöner Platz. Große Stellflächen. Personal, sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Die Pissoir im Waschhaus sind eine Katastrophe. Sie stinken erbärmlich und sind nicht sichtgeschützt. Der Gestank zieht sich über die angrenzenden Toiletten bis in den Spülbereich hinein. auch die Chemietoilette ist nicht optimal platziert. Der Geruch zieht auch in die angrenzenden Toiletten.

Pissoir im Außenbereich platzieren und mit einer echten Wasserspülungbetreiben.

Wir kamen ohne Voranmeldung, und obwohl der Platz komplett ausgebucht war, hat man uns sofort angeboten auf der Wiese neben dem eigentlichen Campingplatz und Walnussbäumen zu übernachten. Wir konnten uns mit unserem Campingbus frei wählen, wo wir stehen wollten. Der Preis war sehr entgegenkommend und wir durften trotzdem alle Einrichtungen des Platzes benutzen. Der Service an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich, sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend.

We verbleven dit jaar voor de 2e keer op Camping Le Paradis. Vorig jaar nog met de camper, dit jaar in 2 huisjes verbleven. Het is een fijne omgeving waar veel te doen is. De camping zelf biedt ook van alles aan, zoals kajakken, mountainbiken, fietsroutes, wandelroutes, fijn zwembad etc. De honden kunnen heerlijk zwemmen in de rivier en er zijn fijne wandelingen in de buurt die je met de honden kunt doen.

Er werd nog veel verbouwd en opgeruimd op de camping. We begrijpen dat dit moet gebeuren, maar dit gaf wel af en toe wat geluidsoverlast.

Fijne locatie en mooie afgeschermde tuin. Heerlijk voor onze honden. We hebben ook nog 2 nachtjes in een ander huisje gezeten, cottage Confort. Dit was een fijn, ruim huisje.

Het bed in onze accommodatie was niet comfortabel. Het was extreem hard. We hadden helaas wat minder weer deze week. Dan merk je dat het huisje Bellevue wel echt te klein is. Cottage confort: Helaas aan een doorgaande weg en veel zicht in de tuin, dus echt privacy had je daardoor niet.
