General information :

The campsite is beautiful throughout, lovely planting, great facilities and surrounded by lots of attractions to visit. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool area is perfect for toddlers and the whole campsite felt safe and very child friendly.

Accommodation review :

The accommodation was compact but had everything we needed in it! The air conditioning was excellent and really needed in the heatwave! Our little boy slept well in the travel cot. The outside space felt secluded and private and the covered terrace was perfect for sitting in the shade on hot days.

General information :

An excellent stay on a very well run campsite. Everything was clean and well maintained as were the hedges and plants, clearly everyone involved takes pride in their work. A nice thought was the well stocked herb garden, which we took advantage of.

Accommodation review :

Our pitch Hibiscus 2 was clean, level, shaded and large. The use of vegetation and hedges to screen the pitches and neighbouring areas was much appreciated as it gave the site a more intimate feel. Water pressure on the pitch was very good and electric worked well.

Camping Le Paradis is a fantastic place to stay for a holiday in the Dordogne. The site is pristine, all of the on-site mobile homes are clean and well equipped and the service from the owners and staff is amazing. The campsite is first class and deserves its 5 stars.

This cottage was very well equipped and has a lovely covered decking which protected us from the sun and rain. We loved having a dishwasher!

On wet days, we spent a lot of time in the cottage and we found the seating area was a little uncomfortable.

A beautiful site. The pools were an absolute godsend as it was 35 degrees. All staff were very pleasant and helpful. Will definitely return next year.

It would be helpful if the site could advise how much waste pipe you need on a pitch as we could not reach the drain.

Grundsätzlich schön angelegter Platz mit vielen Bäumen, Sträuchern, Blumen und Kräutergarten. Das Restaurant ist sehr gut. Auch der kleine Laden ist schön.

Die Wege insbesondere im hinteren Teil des CP sind zu eng. es ist kaum möglich mit einem 12m-Gespann um die Ecken zu fahren, ohne in Kontakt zu den Sträuchern zu kommen. Während unseres Aufenthaltes war das hintere Sanitärgebäude nicht zu nutzen, da es zzt. umgebaut wird. Dadurch hatten wir entsprechend weite Wege zu dem vorderen Sanitärgebäude. Da der Platz recht gut belegt war, entstanden zumindest zeitweise Wartezeiten bei der Toilettenbenutzung. Das fanden wir schon ziemlich ärgerlich. Die Sanitäranlagen sind für einen 5-Sterne-CP eher schlicht, z. B. sehr kleine Duschen.

Accommodation review :

Der XXL-Stellplatz war wirklich schön groß mit Wasser- und Abwasseranschluss. Hecken und Sträucher zu den Nachbarplätzen.

Der Rasen auf dem Stellplatz war bei Ankunft schon längere Zeit nicht gemäht worden. Auch währen unseres Aufenthaltes wurde der Rasen nicht gemäht. Ich kenne es von anderen Campingplätzen, dass der Rasen gemäht wird, sobald der Platz frei ist, bevor die neuen Urlauber kommen.

Ein ruhiger, familiengeführter Campingplatz gelegen an der Vezere in herrlicher Landschaft. Man spürt den Spirit der Inhaberfamilie - im Team herrscht eine sehr gute Stimmung. Der gesamte Platz ist ein Naturparadies und sehr gepflegt. Wir waren jeden Tag mehrmals in der Vezere beim Baden. Die Konzert Abende waren super mit toller Stimmung. Im Restaurant sitzt man sehr schön .

Wir haben im kleinen Shop etwas mehr Auswahl an frischem Obst und Gemüse vermisst. Im Restaurant hätten wir uns etwas mehr Angebot für Vegetarier gewünscht. Leider war das Waschhaus in unserer Nähe eine Baustelle und der Weg zum 2. Waschhaus war morgens und abends ziemlich weit.
