General information :

We had a great time here and were made to feel very welcome during our stay. We came out of season, so we felt like we had the facilities to ourselves most of the time. We had a nice, flat pitch for our tent by the river and it was very quiet and the other campers were very respectful of the ‘quiet after 10:30pm’ rule. The local shop does lovely baguettes and pain au chocolate which you can pre-order the day before. Great location for climbing in the Font Forest. We’ll definitely be back again, when hopefully the weather will be a little less-rainy!

You have to drive a bit to the local towns to find dinner in the evenings. Would recommend The Rajasthan in Malsherbes, or there are lots of lovely places a little further afield in Fontainebleau town - we ate at La Salamandre - wonderful.

Great pitch. Nice and flat and plenty big enough for out medium sized tent and car. Most pitches have a fire pit which is lovely for a fire in the evenings.

Beautiful special place in the grass, with birds and beautiful trees. And for the kids enough friend around to play with. The staf was also very friendly and helpfull.

We liked the campsite and all the amenities. Everything was provided for. The contact at the reception was really friendly and easy.

The reception was not always open at the moments the sign said it would be open.
