Le cadre de la forêt, emplacement très propre et les sanitaires très très propre. Madame est sympathique, Monsieur devrait changer de métier ou de business.

Le propriétaire ferme l'accès au camping à 23h par une barrière en bois muni d'un cadenas, la sortie également donc en cas de nécessité il ne vous permet pas d'entrer et vous devez insister pour qu'il ouvre ce que je trouve illégal. Nous étions au restaurant pour notre anniversaire de mariage et nous sommes rentrés sous la pluie à 0h30 et nous avons trouvé la barrière en bois fermée avec un cadenas. J'ai du lui téléphoner et quand il est arrivé il m'a dit que c'était mieux de dormir dehors. Il ne parle pas français car il est hollandais. Cool pour 35€ la nuit.

It's a beautiful spot to stay and well maintained and clean.

After an 18 hour travel including 6 hours of driving, we arrived at 8:55pm, hungry and exhausted. After we completed check-in formalities, we wanted to have some food before going to bed. We were not served food because the closing time was past a few minutes. No vending machines or other restaurants around and really hungry, it was a desparate situation. In the end, I had to fill my stomach with water and try to sleep with an empty stomach. Customer service needs improvement.

Everything has been thought about, especially for families. The heated pool was a huge plus, the orangerie was stunning. The indoor barn, with its table tennis and football table. was a perfect hangout for our teenage daughter. The basketball court also served as a place to play cricket and football, which meant others were not disturbed. It was hard to persuade my youngest to leave the playground. The campsite was very clean and safe. We were made to feel very welcome by the wonderful family sho run this campsite. We will be returning.

Een echte camping op een prachtig landgoed met de juiste voorzieningen. Van de hartelijke ontvangst tot het heerlijke zwembad. Van het mini winkeltje tot de burger bar. Ook fijn: met 5 minuten wandel je via het bospad het dorpje in.

Er zijn twee kampeervelden. Op het ene veld staan veel grote bomen, wij stonden op het veld zonder veel schaduw. Goed onderhouden. Grote plek.

Mooie, nette camping met een leuke, ongedwongen sfeer. Sanitair heel netjes, grote staplaatsen, mooi zwembad. Ook de binnenplaats is erg gezellig met een Burger bar waar je lekker kan eten

De bar bij het zwembad heeft niet veel uitstraling/sfeer

Absolutely loved this campsite. It had everything we love in terms of facilities for the kids (8, 10, 15) but also very attractive and peaceful, surrounded by woods and close to a village.

so welcoming. quiet. nice activities and pure nature. the vibe is incredible. and it really is in the details - for example when you wait to pick up your bread in the morning (super deliscious by the way) a nice person comes and offers you a coffee for your waiting time!! i mean - that’s brilliant.

the bathroom facilities need a touch up and some more cleaning.

Great relaxed vibe, very well maintained, great facilities - everything one needs for a great holiday. We were only passing through during our journey to the SW but we would happily stay longer. Really love this site!

Showers were a bit cool, but it was probably around the evening ‘rush’ period, and the buttons only turned them on for about six seconds. Cubicles could do with more hooks. Would also appreciate a couple of cubicles which are larger so as to shower more comfortably with my young kids. There was a disabled cubicle which was large but I didn’t think I should use that.

The camping at L'Orangerie was fantastic - a huge thanks to Tim and his wife, Yolanda and Hans - you were all super helpful throughout our stay - thank you. The wee Burger Bar onsite is great and it serves excellent cocktails - especially the Beauregard Spritzer! The swimming pool is amazing and the playground is excellent for wee ones. Ideally placed to explore the Loire!

Very large pitches with several opportunities like ectricity and/or water, Very clean and comfortable sanitaries, fresh bread every morning, lovely heated swimming pool with pool bar..and very nice stuff! The forest and footpathes around the campground are amazing, especially why we had 2 big dogs with us.

Swimming pool was great, very warm and good size. Toilet and shower facilities nice and clean. Loads of great walks from the site and just a few minutes to the village where there's a shop and bakery. They do burgers every night on site which are delicious and served with chips, 15 euro.

Too open for us, felt on show as surrounded by others with no privacy. We arrive shortly before reception closed so didn't have chance to request an alternative, but it seemed like most pitches were the same apart from the other side nearer the trees.

A super nicely laid out campground in the park of a former castle. The old buildings are wonderfully restored/renovated and shine with charm for their respective uses. Reception, restaurant, shopping market, vacation apartments and sanitary buildings form the center of the place and are quickly and easily accessible. In the park there is a swimming pool with bar area. Perfect for children and adults. The pitches are also located in the park amidst the old trees. A great place!

The pitch was nice and big and nicely located. Electricity and water was available at the site. The pitch was relatively flat. The placement of the camper worked very well. The paths to the sanitary building, the pool, the restaurant, the sports fields was short.

Peaceful surroundings, excellent wine tasting session, delicious cocktails in the bar, lovely meal in the restaurant. Children loved the play barn and beautifully maintained play area and pool. Really helpful owners. We will return again!

Lovely site. Friendly - our children liked it a lot.

Ablutions need a deep clean - especially the showers. A lot of inflexibility around opening times of shop, restaurant and bar. Bar was not open when meant to be. Probably needs greater supervision of junior staff to make the site more efficient.

Proximity to the ablutions was good. The restaurants and shop were very good too. Food basic though and could be better. . Lighting at night excellent. I think it was Solar.

Pitch was on a bend in the road and was not as private as it could have been. But good size. Electricity and potable water first rate.

Algehele sfeer op de camping en de mooie omgeving. Activiteiten voor de kinderen op het landgoed en de diversiteit aan activiteiten. Het winkeltje en de horeca. Vriendelijk ontvangst en behulpzaam personeel.

Toilet/douches niet op 4* niveau, minst aantrekkelijke punt van de camping. En onhandig dat ook in t hoogseizoen de bar en het restaurant niet elke avond open zijn. Zwembad was fijn maar aan de kleine kant voor een camping van deze omvang.

Walked around camping site -did not like set up in woods - very dark and gloomy Toilet blocks not super near pitches which is a shame Water and WC waste facilities quite a walk from pitch for emptying. Could do with more big waste bins located on site but landscaped into wooden structures Reception area very small when lots of people arriving at same time and signage not super clear when you first arrive as black text on dark wood

This was our third stay at this wonderful campsite. Tim and Jane are friendly hosts who always make you feel welcome. It was interesting to see how the site has developed in the 5 years since our first visit in 2018. It has retained all of the attractive features whilst adding to the team of staff as it has become more busy. It was the perfect place to relax as we commenced the homeward leg of 4 week trip around.

We stayed for two nights and felt very comfortable. There are plenty of activities for children and beautiful walks. The pool is at a pleasant temperature and the complex itself is very well maintained. If you want to eat or drink, there is a wide range of options on site at affordable prices. The things that are available every day in the Milkbar and in the evenings also make your stay easier. There are many great destinations in the area.

Ich campe seit 38 Jahren. Das hier ist mit Abstand der schönste Campingplatz, den ich je gesehen habe. Eine Oase der Ruhe. Antike kombiniert mit "Boutique Moderne". Der Pool wunderbar, beheizt und Spaß für die ganze Familie. Kein unerfüllter Platz und viel Platz für die Bedürfnisse aller Familienmitglieder. Wir hatten eine Autopanne und uns wurde so freundlich geholfen, trotz Nationalfeiertag, so dass wir nun weiter können. Essen top. Angebote ausreichend. Mitarbeiter freundlich. Wir kommen wieder! Danke für den tollen Urlaubsstart an einem traumhaften Ort! Amboise und Tours besichtigen!

Die Dusche hätte einen etwas stärkeren Strahl haben können, aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau....
