This summer was our 7th holiday at La Garangeoire. Our whole family just love it & we hope to return next year! The staff are brilliant, the site is beautiful & our kids love the pool area & the ponies! We love to visit the lakes & beaches in the area too.

Our pitch was a reasonable size for us, tidy & well maintained, easily accessible & safe.

Allgemein :

Super mooie camping in de Vendee waar je het je aan niets ontbreekt. Vond fijn dat iedereen behulpzaam en netjes was vooral bij de receptie hulp met regelen van kaartjes tot het brengen op je kampeerplaats. Een camping waar je overal in de buurt zit in de omgeving en waar veel te doen is! We komen in de toekomst graag nog eens terug hebben hier genoten als gezin!

Jammer was dat er geen Nederlandse animatie was voor onze kinderen. Hier moesten onze kids aan wennen. Moet wel zeggen dat de Frans en Engelse mensen van het animatieteam de kids zo goed mogelijk hebben geholpen.

Was een zeer grote staanplaats van ongeveer 140m2 met zon en schaduw. Sanitair gebouwtje was precies goed een wc , wastafel en douche. Heerlijk in deze tijd van corana een echte verrijking van je vakantie. Extra luxe.

Pool area is now excessively overcrowded & real concerns to Health & safety , sitting by pool is no longer enjoyable & there were 3 occasions where no room at all & returned to pitch which in hot weather was disappointing..

Fantastic campsite for those who want to relax, or have an active break, so much to do.

Canopy did not cover all of the veranda. The outdoor chairs and table could be improved and updated.

While travelling could only get two nights available here but on arrival they could accommodate us for 6 nights which was fantastic did have to move pitch couple of times but was no problem overall fabulous campsite we’ve two girls ages 15 and 11 and plenty for everyone to do staff all very very nice and helpful highly recommend staying here we will certainly be back

Was great to have this unit on our pitch as these pitches are down quite a bit from main bathrooms so wouldn’t be suitable to be having to run during the night to that distance

Lovely stay , beautiful site

The decking around our accommodation needs maintenance, it’s dropped in places and wasn’t easy getting in and out . I hurt my foot when it dropped down , needs lifting and securing

The activities, the feeling of safety allowing our children some independence, the friendliness, the pool- all excellent!

Toilet/shower blocks could do with more regular cleaning. Often found soap dispensers empty or toilet roll holders empty.

The shade and space

A pretty stony pitch which was not completely flat- was fine, but needed shoes on to walk around the pitch. This was due to being below an oak tree.
