General :

Rustige camping met mooie grote plaatsen tussen de bomen, met uitzicht op het chateau! Goede broodservice. Engelstalige eigenaren en ook veel Engelstalige gasten. Daarnaast redelijk veel Nederlanders en wat Fransen.

De afstand van de kampeerplek (sectie G) tot het sanitair is echt te ver en op de kortste route is geen enkele verlichting.

Large pitch. Pitches seem to be very sunny or ver shaded, would be nice to have a bit of both.

Loved the Monday market/food trucks. Plenty of information available about the local area. Value for money restaurant, serving basic, but good food and wine at reasonable prices. The pool area looks great even though we didn’t use it. Absolutely lovely staff at reception and in all other areas. Plentiful supply of toilet roll and hand wash, but no cold water supply for teeth cleaning. Great site for children, with lots of activities on offer. Don’t miss the little chapel, it’s very interesting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, but feel I have to be honest with the negative.

Our original double classic pergola pitch turned out to be very rocky and uneven. It appeared to have a drainage system running through which had caused the ground to sink. We were moved to a more suitable pitch by the lovely young lady in reception, but we did pay a further fee to upgrade. Pitch taps are awkward to access and the area around needs to be cut between change over. My husband cut the nettles. The shower/wash facilities were kept clean, but there is no cold water supply, and the hot water was luke warm. No laundry sinks in the laundry, but adequate supply of washing machines.

The pitch we were given was in very poor condition. There appeared to be a ditch running through and the ground was full of rocks. We could not park at any angle to get our van level and it would have been extremely uncomfortable to sit out. The Pergola was also not well placed. We did pay extra to get upgraded to a better pitch, but the grass and nettles need to be cut back around the electricity/water bollards.

Lack of attention to the area mentioned above. it’s quite expensive, so would have expected better attention to detail.

Wij hadden zin in een kampeervakantie zonder te veel gesleur of gepruts en daarom voor de glamping optie gekozen. Materiaal ter plaatse was perfect compleet en super leuk ingericht. Zalige omgeving, super ambiance op de markt avond met een petanque wedstrijd. Heerlijke ervaring. Wij komen zeker terug!

Well run, good facilities, very clean and good size pitches. Lovely setting and village nearby. Let down only by an officious initial welcome atreception - all other staff lovely and friendly.

Wir waren mehr als begeistert. Haben uns pudelwohl gefühlt und kommen sicher wieder. Einer der schönsten Campingplätze.

Überhaupt gar nichts ??

Door de opzet heb je helemaal niet door dat het best groot is. Mooi onderhouden, schoon en aardige mensen

Jammer dat niet alles altijd open was. Echt een zoekplaatje elke dag. Geen Cognac bij de koffie mogelijk in het restaurant. Bar had het wel maar die was al dicht om 21 uur.

De ruimte, het uitzicht op het kasteel.

Te ver lopen naar toiletten. De wc's in het toiletgebouw dichterbij waren buiten gebruik en zo te zien was dat al een tijdje.

The clean pool was the highlight of the trip. My kids loved it and they were very tired at the end of the day. The owls hooting at night were great! We've never gotten this close to them before!

The reception would be open but there often wasn't someone actually in there so we would have to search the campground to find him/her.

Our pitch was under the trees and more spacious as compared to other years in other pitches.

The constant crying and wailing of our neighboring campers' young kids/babies everyday, every night. No peace and quiet!
