We visited this site at the end of May 2024 for the first time and found the site easily and access was good. Friendly staff and good pitches/facilities - we would re visit again

Algemeen :

The site is very relaxing, very well maintained and very clean. Small shop on site but we'll stocked, bread and pastries has to be ordered the night before and is ready for pick up by 0800hrs. Access to the site is excellent even if on are towing a large twin axle like us, make sure if using a way and its up to date as there was a new road off the motorway which made it easier to get to the site. Staff at the site greeted you with a smile and cheerful even after a long day and in my case were very helpful as the car went into limp more so they assisted me in get the breakdown service.

On the pitch we had a shed with table and chairs, fridge and an extra microwave, which is always welcome with big families and there was space left over to put bikes away.

Pitch not completely level and was a little rutty but I manage to level some of the rugs in front of the caravan door, like everywhere they had had a lot of rain so vehicles made the rutts. If you have a big van some of the corners have large plant pots on them but are passable with care.

All facilities were excellent ,the restaurant Was very good , lovely swimming complex very warm for a outdoor pool Just a lovely site , including friendly helpful staff

The shower blocks and sanitary facilities in general. Although clean but not spotless

A lovely campsite. Very pretty and close to nature and peaceful. Great staff.

Clean and spacious and main living areas were was ideal for a wheelchair.

Bathroom needed better adaptions for disabled person: A fixed shower seat is essential otherwise the person could easily fall when transferring on to it. The shower head was not attached to wall. This makes a shower very difficult if you are trying to help a disabled person and have to hold this all the time. Not good or safe.

We liked everything about this place. Friendly and helpful staff. Great facilities too. I do think we will return here again. Couldn't fault our stay at all.
