Cabin was great. Very peaceful and good position.

Would be good to have fly screens for windows as we had a few hornets come in at night.

Very well thought out, with storage etc. great location. Great shower and comfy bed.

No fly screens, no welcome pack, toilet door didn’t shut properly.

Our second visit and won’t be our last . Families are so clean and well maintained . Bar and restaurant are fab and the staff are all so friendly and helpful . We were there for the Le Mans racing so all the extras that were put on for that were perfect . The party , the transfers to and from the track and the hot roast were all fabulous . Keep up the good work !

The whole set up was perfect from the magnificent central house and bar to the facilities and camp sites. The staff are incredibly helpful and polite.

Set on clean flat ground surrounded by trees to provide much needed shade it was the perfect place to set up tents.

Wij hebben enorm genoten van het lieve personeel wat vanaf het eerste moment voor ons klaarstond. De hond krijgt een warm welkom en er is genoeg te doen. We hebben heerlijk kunnen zwemmen, poolen en gewandeld. Ook het stadje Le Mans is super aan te rijden. De douches zijn ook super!

De verlichting bij de douches vallen snel weer uit. Dus als je daarna aan het opmaken bent, moet je even heen en weer rennen om ze aan te laten gaan.

Mooi veld met een prachtig uitzicht op het chateau.

De eerste paar dagen was de dichtstbijzijnde toilet gesloten. Dan is het wel een stukje lopen als je nodig moet plassen. Echter zijn wij goed ter been dus het vormde verder voor ons geen belemmering.

We have staged at Chanteloup 4 times. Beautiful site with the most friendly staff. Makes an excellent stop on way south or a great destination in itself. Also close to a fantastic E LeClerc in Le Mans

Quiet, well Laid out

Algemeen :

This site offers something for most campers, from secluded woodland pitches to open pitches around the main house. The facilities were high quality. Most importantly for us, there were extensive grounds in which to walk and exercise our dog. The bar and outdoor seating areas were excellent, so much so that we just had to watch the European Cup with quite a few very tasty Aperols (just as well as England lost!)! During high season, there are numerous activities for campers of all ages to enjoy. While we did not use it, the restaurant menu looked very good. Well-stocked shop also.

The pitch was spacious as we were in the main grounds of the house. Electricity supply was perfectly adequate for our needs although perhaps for some, a long cable might be required.

Lovely site, well managed, everything you need, we only stayed 1 night and wished we had stayed longer.

We had a caravan, we had a excellent pitch right outside the Chateau, water was ready available, electric was ok.
