The setting is beautiful and the range of different types of pitches is great. We stayed in the woods which was peaceful. Staff were very friendly and helpful and everything was clean and tidy.

The restaurant wasn’t very good at all. It didn’t match the grandeur of the grounds or the setting. The marquees were old with bad lighting and should have been swept of leaves etc from the roof tops . It needs some form of flooring. We took our dogs and they were covered in sand and bits by the end. When we arrived the three staff were sitting chatting and didn’t acknowledge us. The menu was okay but far too overpriced for the quality of the food and there wasn’t enough choice of drinks. We were there for three nights and the daily menu didn’t change. We were really disappointed

The pitches were lovely. Spacious and pretty level. We were in the woods this time and it was cool and shaded with just enough coverage to let some sunshine through. It was great to have water and a drain really close by.

The site as usual was great one of our favourite places to come every year the actual site didn’t disappoint

Yes the shop was pointless it was never big but had day to day things, also the restaurant we always have eaten there but this year what a disappointment over priced and standard of food was poor , after 9 years I would say this is letting the château down unfortunately, without fail we always stopped here for a few days on our way home to Scotland, I would have to think next year and call before booking to see if these items had been changed , hopefully something can be done to bring it back to its first class status we have enjoyed for 8 years and we would come back

Everything you need all in one place for a super family holiday. Spacious pitches, great facilities. We’ve been returning year after year and always enjoy our visit. We had a meal in the restaurant and enjoyed it as much as in the past (despite having read some negative reviews recently). Valerie and Benoit (and the team) have tried to maintain the Chanteloup spirit whilst making some new additions in the form of cabins in the woods. We extended our stay to enable us to attend the Saturday night bbq, which is always a fun event. The children (aged 12&9) also enjoyed the two movie nights!

The site was a little quieter than usual (maybe people still getting back to things post covid) and it did feel like it had lost a little bit of its soul. There also seemed to be fewer activities than usual and less of a noticeable presence of both owners and the dream team.

Lots of space, electricity point right next to the pitch, water point close by. Great view overlooking the chateau.

Emplacements très spacieux, nature, décor, espace très sympa avec le chateau et le bar, activités pour les enfants, bonne ambiance générale, accueil des équipes

Espaces sanitaires très bien, mais malgré tout très standard - un peu plus de place pour prendre sa douche / WC / toilette aurait été appréciée eu égard au standing général.

Great site with all you need to enjoy caravan life. We had great pitches and could not fault the cleanliness and staff availability. Communal BBQ was a hit with everyone, a chance to mingle and chat with other campers. There are different pitches for different needs. Although we brought teenagers you'd not really know as the site is quiet. Were booking again so they must be doing something right.

Not a lot to moan about to be honest. If anything, need to sort out the restaurant and takeaway! Ohh and be sure to bring extra cable, the Electricity hookup can be a distance

Beautiful pitches backing on to wooded areas. Clean bright but shaded at times. Just loved it.

As commented before, make sure you have enough cable, some pitches can be a distance from the hookup

Superb welcome. Beautiful setting. Very friendly.

Evening meal disappointing. Wrong pizza bought though immediately corrected. No rice or garlic sauce with prawns. Overpriced for mediocre food.
