The atmosphere was very relaxed. The amenities we used were of good quality. The pool was great, the staff very friendly. It was lovely how respectful guests were of late night rules.

This is really picky, but the WiFi was very patchy.

The accommodation was very comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped with dishwasher and washing machine (not mentioned in listing). It was lovely to have the right amount of chairs for dining in and for outdoor use. The chairs for relaxing in the garden were also most welcome. The fan was very welcome.

The oven in the kitchen was temperamental and only had one shelf, which made cooking for 6 difficult.

The pitches where a really good size, plenty of places to get water and bins to get rid if your rubbish. The chateaux looked amazing with really nice facilities surrounding it.

We ate in the restaurant and all 4 of us stated the food was really nice but lacked presentation with a very limited choice. We ordered and within 10 mins the food arrived same with desert, all seemed a bit rushed.

From arriving every minute of our stay created special memories! I had visited Chateaux du Chanteloup decades previously with my ex-husband, but had been planning to return for the 100th Le Mans Classic which coincided with my 50th birthday, for almost 10 years. Our stay did not disappoint, all the anticipation was worth the wait! From our shady pitch close to the satellite shower block to the birthday candle & painting I was presented with over dinner in the restaurant, every little detail was appreciated. I don't think I ever stopped smiling throughout our stay. Thank you

It wasn't appreciated that some guests decided it was ok to start their very loud sports cars at 06.30 on Friday morning, rev them unnecessarily and then leave them running for nearly 15 minutes, before roaring off in convoy down the gravel drive-way. Yes, we were all there for the racing, but some enjoy sleep just as much. Such guests should either be encouraged to take their cars to the gate the night before to minimise the impact the noise makes, or be banned from returning. Other guests were heard using drums at 01.30 hours on Sunday morning! Such a shame.

Shady pitch was hugely appreciated in the heat of the day - thank you! The "Corale" layout around the edge of each camping area made for a very enjoyable outlook and gave the ability to enjoy the beautiful environment to the full - the views, the bird-song - and still have the convenience of showers and toilets nearby. I still maintain the presence of music 24/7 was needless and spoiled the "back-to-nature" feel of the woods and camp-site surroundings as a whole as it drowned out the beautiful bird-song. But, I understand there are more important reasons for it being used!?!

The lack of a real DJ who knows how to put a dancing play-list together and can fade one song out gently into another after it, without abrupt "edits" and complete stops between tracks that were not similar to each other would be a real improvement on the night of the Ball, music from the period? A wooden dance floor set up on the lawn under your beautiful "new" awning, thus providing a proper dance floor. Concourse d'elegance - Classic car invites only at the classic weekend? The winner was a Kit car - a fake! Judges - all men! Some ladies know about cars too. Next time?

We were back again for an extended Le Mans weekend. This is 4th time we have stayed and we will definitely be back again. This is always the best camping experience I have every year.

Kurz vor der Hauptsaison konnten wir absolute Ruhe auf dem riesigen Waldstellplatz genießen. Neben dem sehr freundlichen Servicepersonal schienen alle Gäste sehr zufrieden aufgrund der schönen Atmosphäre in dem parkähnlichen, abwechslungsreichen, naturnahen Areal.

Evtl. etwas bessere Beleuchtung an dem Wegabschnitt am Übergang von den Waldplätzen zu den Toiletten

Der Stellplatz war sehr, sehr groß, im Halbschatten gelegen, einfach perfekt, die Wasserstelle direkt gegenüber und der Stromabschluss in direkter Nähe.

Die Bäume in der Nähe der Stellplätze von Zeit zu Zeit überprüfen: in der Nähe des Nachbarplatzes ist ein Baum plötzlich mit lauten Krachen umgestürzt, Gitt sei Dank nur in die Büsche.
