A great stay. A warm welcome as always. Accommodating to our needs. Beautifully maintained, a lovely atmosphere and great amenities..

Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad met ons zoontje van 10 maanden op deze mooie, rustige camping. We hadden een ruime en schaduwrijke plek (niet alle plekken waren schaduwrijk). En leuke activiteiten voor volwassenen en kinderen!

Ruime, schaduwrijke plek aan de rand van de camping.

Algemeen :

The campsite is in the most beautiful grounds and has a lovely relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The communal areas are all kept to a high standard in terms of facilities and cleanliness. The staff are all very friendly. The pool is lovely. A bit crowded at times but that is to be expected. The burger bar was a hit.

The shop could benefit from having fresh milk, fruit and vegetables on offer. The nearby village (a lovely short walk from the campsite) does offer some fresh fruit and vegetables but the shop also sold only UHT milk. I was sorry not to understand that the wine tasting was on the grounds itself (I read chateau and assumed it was somewhere else and didn't understand my mistake until I walked past when it was already halfway through!).

The cabin is a great design and we slept well enough (the mattress was a little hard for my taste). I hadn't appreciated the two rooms would have separate entrances and that you could only get into one from the other by going outside. This was a plus for us (a bit more privacy) but some might prefer to be able to access younger children directly.

Please add a peeler and a grater to the kitchen equipment! The chairs/sofas in the tent were very uncomfortable. We would have preferred 4 deck chairs instead.

It is so exciting to see that the campside gets better every year. Now there is a music night with fantastic accustic sound on the beautiful space at the pool.

We switched our pitch as we reserved last minute. We stayed 4 nights, first two at an emplacement normal and then at a premium pitch. Both pitches were big and wonderful. The premium pitches are situated under trees which is very nice on hot days.

Algemeen :

The weather, the pool, the orangerie, the people, the prayer space, the burger bar, the gentle morning stroll through the forest to the local boulangerie, the vast starry skies, the late nights chatting with friends... beauty filled.

Cabin came with a bell tent, covered dining space, camp stove, barbecue, outdoor furniture and deck chairs, giving our family of five plenty of space to eat, sleep and chill. Morning coffee in the deck chairs, lunch to go and dinner around the table. Cabin was warm (hot weather) but comfortable.

Grote kampeerplek (A32), lekker zwembad, goed sanitair.

Zwembad was 28 graden, ik heb liever 22/24 graden zodat je kan afkoelen.

We ate at the burger bar a few times and the burgers were good but just had far too much sauce on them with really soggy buns! I’d just suggest using a fraction of the sauce!

Wir hatten erholsame Tage. Der Ort ist zauberhaft und die gesamte Anlage ist durchdacht. Wir kommen wieder.

Algemeen :

We flew to Tours and took an Uber to the site. Didn't leave except on foot all week and didn't need to. Our kid loved the swimming pool, forest school, pony riding and animal petting. We loved the boules competition, the wine and cheese tasting evening, the daily coffees and fresh bread and croissants every morning. This is an absolutely amazing place and we hope to return.

Really well kitted rustic outdoor kitchen. It had everything we needed. Bring citronella candles! We brought 3 and got through them all.

We didn't feel comfortable having our kid sleep solo, and especially up top, so if you're a two adult family you might want to think about the sleeping arrangement ahead of time.
