General :

We had a fabulous time, the grounds are beautiful, the team are fantastic and really helpful and we all loved the heated pool! The burger bar, pizza and beer van and fresh bread and pastries to order for each morning were excellent. We enjoyed visiting Amboise, Tours and beautiful village of Lavardin and using hire bikes to cycle to Caves Cathelineau recommended by Tim which offered a wonderful wine tasting experience. The children enjoyed a pony ride at nearby stables booked for us by Jane.

It would have been good to have some fresh fruit and veg available in the milk bar and perhaps a bigger selection of dry goods.

It was really comfortable and cozy accommodation for the 5 of us. Our 3 kids loved sleeping in the upstairs bedroom. It was great to have the bell tent to hang out especially as we had a few days of rain

It would have been good to have been closer to the sanitary block but as it was off season the closest block was closed which is understandable.

General :

What a stunning site . Everyone was so welcoming. The place is so classily done . A little gem

So much was provided, from fridge , gas cooker , to all plates and utensils. The main tent was spacious and we used as our changing room . The rooms were dark . It made camping so easy

With younger children we had to sleep with one upstairs and one down stairs as no access to them from inside . This would not be an issue when kids older

General :

The campsite is in the most beautiful grounds and has a lovely relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The communal areas are all kept to a high standard in terms of facilities and cleanliness. The staff are all very friendly. The pool is lovely. A bit crowded at times but that is to be expected. The burger bar was a hit.

The shop could benefit from having fresh milk, fruit and vegetables on offer. The nearby village (a lovely short walk from the campsite) does offer some fresh fruit and vegetables but the shop also sold only UHT milk. I was sorry not to understand that the wine tasting was on the grounds itself (I read chateau and assumed it was somewhere else and didn't understand my mistake until I walked past when it was already halfway through!).

The cabin is a great design and we slept well enough (the mattress was a little hard for my taste). I hadn't appreciated the two rooms would have separate entrances and that you could only get into one from the other by going outside. This was a plus for us (a bit more privacy) but some might prefer to be able to access younger children directly.

Please add a peeler and a grater to the kitchen equipment! The chairs/sofas in the tent were very uncomfortable. We would have preferred 4 deck chairs instead.

General :

The weather, the pool, the orangerie, the people, the prayer space, the burger bar, the gentle morning stroll through the forest to the local boulangerie, the vast starry skies, the late nights chatting with friends... beauty filled.

Cabin came with a bell tent, covered dining space, camp stove, barbecue, outdoor furniture and deck chairs, giving our family of five plenty of space to eat, sleep and chill. Morning coffee in the deck chairs, lunch to go and dinner around the table. Cabin was warm (hot weather) but comfortable.

General :

We flew to Tours and took an Uber to the site. Didn't leave except on foot all week and didn't need to. Our kid loved the swimming pool, forest school, pony riding and animal petting. We loved the boules competition, the wine and cheese tasting evening, the daily coffees and fresh bread and croissants every morning. This is an absolutely amazing place and we hope to return.

Really well kitted rustic outdoor kitchen. It had everything we needed. Bring citronella candles! We brought 3 and got through them all.

We didn't feel comfortable having our kid sleep solo, and especially up top, so if you're a two adult family you might want to think about the sleeping arrangement ahead of time.

General :

This was our 2nd time coming to Orangerie de Beauregard - our 1st time staying in a cabin (we came in 2019 with a trailer tent). The site is really friendly, and we felt relaxed as soon as we arrived. Not having to setup a tent made arrival stress free! Everywhere was kept spotlessly clean and maintained throughout, with grass cut and toilets kept clean by an amazing staff. The pool is fantastic. We visited the beehives and now want to be apiarists. The Monday night market and Petanque is excellent, and the visit to the mill great fun.

We arrived just before high season, so everything was a bit quieter with less activities. In our first week the bar wasn't fully open at the Orangerie, but the burger bar served drinks which was fine. We left the day before the first wine tasting of the season which we had really enjoyed in 2019. We'll not miss out on that next time when we undoubtedly return, and maybe see some of the great friends that we made again.

The bed is comfortable, and proper bedding makes for a comfy stay. The cabin was nice and dark so easy to go to bed early or lie in later. Having an upstairs and a downstairs bedroom with separate entries meant the grown ups could have our own room downstairs, without being disturbed by our teenager upstairs. The bell tent and kitchen areas make a really great setup. We mainly used the tent for changing but if the weather was bad we could have comfortably relaxed in there. No having to arrive and setup a tent was bliss - just unpack the car and go straight into holiday mode!

We had to return home!

General :

Prachtige, ruime en rustige camping! Heerlijk, verwarmd zwembad met gezellige bar. Vriendelijk personeel (ook Nederlandstalig). Sanitair was wat verder van onze hut, maar wel steeds kraaknet.

Heel leuk concept (slaapcabine met boven en beneden slaapplaats). Vrij goed uitgerust (kook- en eetgerief, koelkast).

Keukenuitrusting was vrij beperkt, maar basisdingen zijn aanwezig.

General :

L'Orangerie de Beauregard Is the perfect campsite for a young family! The pool is fantastic! The kids activities are excellent, my son was able to do forest school, animal petting and get a donkey cart ride. The food options were very good, there was something open very evening apart from Sunday. The Bar in the orangerie was great and the cocktails were delicious. We will definitely be coming back again!

Great option for new campers, the sleeping cabin was simple but exactly what we needed, our cabin was in the shade so cool enough in the 35•c heat! The kitchen was well stocked, and the living room tent was spacious.

Would be good to have a washing line to hang up wet swimming stuff, also a few more hook under the seating area to hang things on.

General :

Een prachtige, rustige camping met vriendelijke eigenaren en personeel. Genoeg vertier op de camping en in de mooie omgeving.

Knus, leuk, gemakkelijk, alles aanwezig, in geval van slecht weer genoeg binnenruimte.

Fantastic area, lots of magnificent trees. Very quiet and no ugly mobile homes around.

The restaurant's main courses were disappointing. We only tried it once so it may have been bad luck. The veggie chilli was very bland and had nothing of a chilli sin carne.

Bedding was comfy and warm. The sitting area in the bell tent was very welcome and so handy with 5 of us staying. The fridge was also a nice surprise!

General :

This is such a wonderful place. A welcome mixture of fun and rest - Monday night market and pétanque (boules), Wine tasting on site and at a local winery, an Irish music evening, the refreshing pool, tranquil woods, quality restaurant. I met so many wonderful people - those working on site, and those staying as guests. I can't wait for next year!

More than enough for 1! Oh the joy of camping with a comfortable mattress already in situ, and a means of shutting out the light!

Had everything you need and spacious

Got very hot! Upstairs not good for very young kids , the double bed is on the ground floor , would have been better to switch this

General :

A good size campsite, particularly with younger children, good facilities and activities available without being overwhelming. Beautiful surroundings with lots around.

Our inside cabin could do with a few extra touches. The snack bar closed and our nearest sanitary block as we went into low season which was unexpected (21/8)

We’ll set up with all we needed for cooking/eating. Good bedding with duvets. Bell tent with seating and fridge was ideal.

The outside kitchen area needs a light. The solar fairy lights did not last long and they are coloured which gives less light. An outdoor light was needed. We bought candles which I don't think is suitable particularly with the dry season. The children cabin above could do with a head board- pillows shift off the end and also would be good for extra safety particularly with younger children.

Wij hadden zin in een kampeervakantie zonder te veel gesleur of gepruts en daarom voor de glamping optie gekozen. Materiaal ter plaatse was perfect compleet en super leuk ingericht. Zalige omgeving, super ambiance op de markt avond met een petanque wedstrijd. Heerlijke ervaring. Wij komen zeker terug!

General :

Friendly, clean and hassle free stay in a two storey sleeping pod during the hot summer of 2022. Enjoyed the pool , general onsite accessibility and outlook and the snack bar burgers! The cheese and wine night was also very enjoyable.

The pool can understandably get very busy for large parts of the day during hot weather. Perhaps an adult only slot at the beginning and end of each day would be appreciated. More accessible information about restaurant. Shop could have a few more basic products such as pasta sauces for when local shops are closed.

The Bell tent was a nice addition and fridge size very good. The sleeping pods worked fine. As did the kitchen area.

A couple of extra outdoor chairs would have been appreciated as only two chairs for 4 people. Kitchen area worked well but bigger pans, a colander and a kettle would have been useful. Maybe light over kitchen table..

General :

Very clean, quite, cosy campsite. Nice wine tasting, nice little markets, food trucks. Problems with payment were resolved in immediately.

Excellent séjour au camping. De l'accueil au départ, aucune fausse note. La piscine est fantastique, et je ne peux que recommander de venir ici en famille, tout le monde y trouvera son compte dans un environnement boisé très agréable et tranquille.
