General :

We hebben 2 fijne weken gehad op deze camping. Mooi sanitair gebouw, gezellige activiteiten, veel speelmogelijkheden, mooie schaduwrijke plek en fijn zwembad voor de kinderen.

Wij hadden een plek inclusief koelkast, maar die is wel erg klein voor een gezin van 5 personen. Het is handig om dat wel te vermelden. Ook zaten wij op een volbezette camping en dan is het zwembad wel erg druk/te klein.

General :

Grote ruime plek, veel schaduw en zon kon je opzoeken. Schone faciliteiten (douche, wasbak en wc) en genoeg faciliteiten (douche, wasbak en wc). Vriendelijk personeel.

Onze buren hadden een airco in de tent. Die maakte ‘s nachts veel lawaai. Naast het stroomverbruik van zo’n airco is de herrie echt zeer ongewenst. Daarnaast hadden we op ons stukje een grote groep vrienden/familie. De groep was zo groot dat die eigenlijk alleen maar met zichzelf bezig waren. Het is gebruikelijk om elkaar op de camping even te groepen als je elkaar tegen komt. Dit is misschien nog niet zo heel erg. De onrust die zo’n grote groep meebrengt is wel vervelend. Een avondje (of 2) is niet erg, maar elke avond is wel wat minder leuk. Grote groepen maken nou eenmaal meer lawaai.

Er viel veel uit de boom. Niet alleen eikels. Maar ook takken en ander spul. De douches vonden we ook wat minder. Wel schoon, maar de straal was niet overal even fijn (haren wassen voor de vrouwen eigenlijk onmogelijk) en het niet kunnen instellen van de temperatuur is ook minder fijn

General :

Wat ons het meeste heeft verblijd was de gezellige cultuur van de meest uiteenlopende gezinnen die 1 ding gemeen hadden namelijk een gemoedelijke vakantie.

Prima camping, overzichtelijk en niet te groot. Voldoende sanitair en faciliteiten. Mooi zwembad erbij maakt het af. Prima uitvalsbasis voor bijvoorbeeld een bezoek aan Tours of Amboise.

Douches voorzien van betere sproeikoppen.

What a thoroughly enjoyable relaxing stay. An extremely friendly and lovely site. Great big pitches and fantastic facilities and the owners Tim and Jayne were so friendly and helpful.

our family of 4 had a super stay at Camping L'Orangerie de Beauregard. Beautiful site, fantastic helpful and thoughtful team, great pool amd amenities, fantastic location in Loire valley with lots to see and do.

Nothing to report - everything was great (we stayed an extra 2 nights because we were so happy)

We love L'Orangerie de Beauregard. Its well spaced out with plenty of trees to separate different areas so you don't feel crammed in. Plenty for the kids to do. My teenagers made friends on day one with kids from all over Europe and spent nearly all their time on the site in the games court, in the barn playing table tennis or in the pool. This is actually a slight negative as they would much rather stay at base camp than to visit chateaus and towns in the area. It's going to be difficult to persuade them to try somewhere else next time.

Wat een prachtig domein om te kamperen. Heel grote staanplaatsen, heel leuk bos, vriendelijke service, kleinschalig gezellig, heel tof zwembad en heel mooie chateau.

Eén enkel minpunt: het sanitair complex. Geen warm water in het Noord gebouw en geen wasplaatsje voor baby's. Dit misten we wel.

Heel grote staanplaats, ideale combinatie tussen schaduw en zon. Zalig om zo dicht tegen het bos te zitten.

Er was een muizennest vlak naast onze staanplaats. Dat is natuurlijk logisch met zo'n bos naast je plaats maar het was soms verschieten.

General :

We loved all of it - we'll be back! Loved our pitch A14. Staff all great and friendly. Our 5yr old daughter absolutely loved the Forest School too and the pool.

Opening hours of the bar - would be great if it could open earlier in the afternoon! Two hour forest school would also be excellent.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is a beautiful area and there were so many chateaux in lovely countryside to visit on our electric bikes. The site is spacious with plenty of good sized sunny or shady pitches in wooded areas with or without services, a lovely warm swimming pool and plenty of showers, loos etc.

We didn’t like the deck chairs at the pool - they are very difficult to get in and out of and it is impossible to lie down for sunbathing. The restaurant was unimpressive. The food quality was poor and we would not eat there again.

A truly beautiful and very pretty site. If you close your eyes and try to imagine a beautiful French rustic campsite with peace and tranquility and plenty of activities for those who want them, this would be the site. It is in a stunning location very close to a very pretty village with a well stocked grocery and butchers shop all in one. Friendly site, friendly village with lovely friendly people. We will definitely be back.

Didn’t like the push button showers and no temperature control. Too hot. Chairs at restaurant and Orangerie very uncomfortable, and really didn’t like the deckchairs round the pool. Need sunloungers.

Jane & Tim so welcoming, in fact all staff have been amazing. So many options for cool dog walks. Had premier pitch in shade which was perfect. The larger pitches were in sun so not ideal for us when it hit 30! Swimming pool lovely. Excellent site for recycling. Looking forward to coming back next year.

Sanitary block needs a little updating but then we have been spoilt by sites with private bathrooms on our pitch

Een camping om naar terug te keren. Het is hier zo mooi. De plekken zijn ruim, het is rustig, de medewerkers zjjn ontzettend vriendelijk en het erfgoed is prachtig onderhouden. Er zit veel liefde en zorg in het onderhoud en beheer van het mooie erfgoed. We waren hier voor de tweede keer en kijken uit naar ons volgend verblijf.

Er is werkelijk niks vervelends aan te merken. Alles hebben we als plezierig ervaren.

Mooi gelegen camping op landgoed met vriendelijke en behulpzame receptie, prima voorzieningen qua eten/drinken en vermaak voor kinderen. Prachtige orangerie en bijgebouwen!

There was plenty of shade behind our plot under the trees which we really appreciated , but plots in full sun were struggling with the extreme hot weather. Site was overall spacious and well thought out.

Great pitches, very clean with plenty of toilets, showers and sinks so no queuing even in august. Great to have visits from local producers.

Shop was a bit basic and having everything closed between 12.30 and 2 was a little inconvenient when it was so hot (couldn’t get drinks or ice lollies).

Lovely site, very well kept and friendly- would highly recommend. Great for families with young kids - we had a teenager but still plenty to do in the area.

Nothing that we disliked - although it would be nice to enlarge the take out menu to include a few other options rather than just hot dog & burgers. It would also be nice to provide a 1 hour slot for adults only in the swimming pool (am and pm) as we could not swim due to the high volume of kids all day .

Fridges included with premium pitches are too small for a family. Table and chairs are more flexible than picnic bench although not a big issue.

Peace and quiet. Well located for visiting many of the best bits of the Loire. Good for walking and cycling

Dislike is probably too strong a word but the mole damage to the pitch was a nuisance, the site shop was poorly stocked, the bar was closed for most of the time and the restaurant menu was very limited - wee accept of course that our visit was just before the high season

Really clean, loads of showers, premium pitch in a nice location and good set up, lots of activities and decent shop etc, reception wasn't super helpful with tips etc. but friendly and the staff were all lovely. Enjoyed the wine tasting and exploring the woods especially. We came in summer holidays so expected lots of families and there were indeed lots of kids, but everyone was very quiet and it still felt really relaxed. We came by public transport (train to Tours then taxi) whcih worked fine with bike hire but we were a bit stuck for activities.

Pool was naturally a bit kid heavy so don't expect to be doing lengths! We weren't mega impressed by the restaurant but it was nice to have a nourishing meal in a pleasant setting.

Location in shady area was perfect, well set up and clean, near the toilets and good access to pool.

Remember to bring a converter cable thing! We didn't know we'd need one to use the electricity, they kindly lent us one. Best suited to those with camper vans/big tents etc (make sure you have space in tent for the fridge or a way to cover it) but having the seating etc was nice. It did feel a little close to neighbours.

General :

We really like the setting of the site which had been sympathetically done. Gorgeous pool with bar and beautiful surroundings. We can’t wait to return in a couple of weeks’ time.

Unfortunately the pitch was quite uneven and had mole holes which kept appearing during our stay. Grass was too long.

Really liked the campsites and the activities they organized. A beer truck, a little market. The swimming pool is absolutely amazing with the nice bar.

Most people don’t stay very long at the campsite. I think that is a bit too bad. But that was really the only thing.

Mooie, schone camping met ruime plaatsen. Veel kinderen in de leeftijd 4-12 jaar. Goede ligging met veel kastelen in de omgeving. Aardige, hulpvaardige eigenaren.

Kinderen hebben wel erg de overhand op de camping.

De extra voorzieningen die we hadden zoals de picknicktafel, koelkast en barbecue waren erg fijn om te hebben.

Van de stoelen hadden we meer verwacht. We dachten dat we dezelfde stoelen zouden krijgen als degene die bij de barrels staan. Maar het waren simpele strandstoelen.
