Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf met de camper op deze camping. Wij hadden een heel grote standplaats, met zonneluifel, perfect!

Ik zou een iets uitgebreidere kaart in het restaurant heel erg waarderen.

The site was beautiful and carefully maintained. The staff were excellent and clearly cared about ensuring every family had a very good holiday. The site is situated on the St Jacques pilgrim route to Santiago and it was a privilege to feel a part of this with staff and fellow pilgrims . Special thanks to Tim and Jane for making us feel so welcome.

Mooie ruim opgezette camping, met hele grote plekken. Schoon sanitair, broodjes op de camping en uitermate vriendelijk personeel. ‘s-Avonds na 22u stil op de camping. De maandagavond markt met de lokale bevolking is erg gezellig.

Het zwembad is erg vol in het hoogseizoen. Weinig (te doen voor) oudere tieners/jongeren.

Pitch was sloping

A good level of investment in facilities relevant to the size of the campsite. Staff were pleasant.

Initial impact on arrival spoiled by the untidy, unkept dividing between pitches. The rest of the site is extremely well kept but unfortunately the overgrowth left to create weak dividing strips creates a poor first impact.

Excellent size, service points easily accessible, our pitch had quite a slope and proved challenging to get a large caravan level.

As above the unkept dividing between pitches looked untidy, did not prevent other guests from walking across our pitch and the weeds (including stinging nettles) would have concerned us if we had young children with us. Appreciate this approach may make management easier during the closed period but sadly it lets down an otherwise excellent site and could be improved by some hedging, fencing or roping which ever fits your other processes.

General :

Spacious well serviced pitches, great facilities s as no suberb pool. Staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Lower facility block could be expanded to include showers.

Large pitch giving lots of space between other campers, having a water tap on your pitch and a on pitch Gazebo.

Fortunately we left on the same day a large noisy (typical English) family arrived opposite. Armed with drink and music. Felt sorry for the surrounding campers staying on. Hopefully this was sorted out.

Our third visit to this site. We love the large serviced pitches, the fantastic restaurant and bar area and the rural location. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Pitch sloped more then the one we had last year so needed to find additional blocks to get the caravan level. Beer wagon ran out of lager (not sites fault).

Biggest pitch I've ever stayed on. Loved the way it was sectioned off and the addition of the pergola was a bonus.

De camping en zeker ook het zwembad zijn echt prachtig. Ik vond het café naast het zwembad ook gezellig. Verder heel fijn en vriendelijk personeel. En de lekkere koffie in het winkeltje was zeker ook een grote bonus.

Wij stonden met onze camper en twee jongens van 3 en 5 . Onwijs mooie locatie, fijne sfeer super grote plekken, wel een stukje lopen voor de douche maar dat vonden we niet erg. Goede service en echt genoten van het verblijf!

Wow! We were impressed the minute we arrived. The reception staff were really helpful. A very well organised site. Great amenities in beautiful surroundings. So much on offer for adults and children. Shower blocks spotless and lovely hot water. Heated swimming pool. Lots of walking and cycling routes. Close to the nearby village of Villedômer with a little well stocked épicerie and patisserie a few doors down but the site takes orders for baguettes etc too. Lovely coffee shop and their restaurant serves delicious meals using local produce. Outstanding. We would definitely recommend and return.

We liked the spacious pitch and friendly greeting. The facilities were clean and the waitress in the restaurant was extremely friendly. You can walk into the local village in a few minutes. Pool was lovely and clean

The was a pergola on the pitch which meant we didn't have to get the awning out on the motorhome. It was a great double pitch which meant we could use half for the motorhome and half for the children to play.

General :

Having found this site in 2019 for an overnight stopover we were determined to return for a longer stay which we did this year spending 8 days here. We were not disappointed. The site has a lovely pool and the food in the restaurant is excellent. It was towards the end of the season when we visited in August so the opening times for the bar and take away seemed to change on a daily basis probably due to the availability of staff but a notice board was used to keep everyone informed.

We had one of the large pitches (row D) which was great for space but because there are no hedges or similar to define the pitch area we found our pitch was used as a shortcut by other campers. Quite annoying when people walk through your dining room whilst you are eating.

People taking shortcuts across our pitch. No drain for wastewater. We used the wastemaster to collect waste water but the only facility for emptying this is the chemical toilet emptying points which require you to lift the container which weighs quite a bit with 40 litres of water in it.

Loved the Monday market/food trucks. Plenty of information available about the local area. Value for money restaurant, serving basic, but good food and wine at reasonable prices. The pool area looks great even though we didn’t use it. Absolutely lovely staff at reception and in all other areas. Plentiful supply of toilet roll and hand wash, but no cold water supply for teeth cleaning. Great site for children, with lots of activities on offer. Don’t miss the little chapel, it’s very interesting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, but feel I have to be honest with the negative.

Our original double classic pergola pitch turned out to be very rocky and uneven. It appeared to have a drainage system running through which had caused the ground to sink. We were moved to a more suitable pitch by the lovely young lady in reception, but we did pay a further fee to upgrade. Pitch taps are awkward to access and the area around needs to be cut between change over. My husband cut the nettles. The shower/wash facilities were kept clean, but there is no cold water supply, and the hot water was luke warm. No laundry sinks in the laundry, but adequate supply of washing machines.

The pitch we were given was in very poor condition. There appeared to be a ditch running through and the ground was full of rocks. We could not park at any angle to get our van level and it would have been extremely uncomfortable to sit out. The Pergola was also not well placed. We did pay extra to get upgraded to a better pitch, but the grass and nettles need to be cut back around the electricity/water bollards.

Lack of attention to the area mentioned above. it’s quite expensive, so would have expected better attention to detail.

Die Lage und die Atmonsphäre hat uns sehr, sehr gut gefallen. Einchecken war unkompliziert. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle super freundlich. Ganze Anlage sauber und toll gepflägt. Wenn man die Schlösser und Burgen in der Umgebung anschauen möchte, dann ist dieser Camping ein super toller Ausgangspunkt.

We had pre arranged a shaded pitch to avoid the heat but someone had taken our pitch. Tim went above and beyond what could have been expected to find us an even more shaded pitch and went to extraprdinary lengths to ensure we had power. A wonderful, relaxed camp site with excellent facilities which are spotlessly clean. The addition this year of a snack bar gave a very useful extra food option on hot days when we could not be bothered cooking. Highly recommended camp site

We did a 1 month tour of France and this was by far our favourite campsite. The pitches were extremely roomy, with great utility connections. The Pool was 5 star and extremely clean, with great recliners and umbrellas. The site has a great coffee shop and convenience store and the restaurant serves healthy, quality meals at very reasonable prices. It's a short 10 mins walk through a wood to beautiful Villedomer, which has a Patisserie and other convenience stores. We did 3 great hikes from the site, with information provided on our arrival. Great site and a lovely family that run it.

Prachtige omgeving, grote velden, park zelf is al een mooi wandelgebied. Ook voor honden geweldig. Zeer ruim opgezet allemaal. Ook voor de uitwerpselen van de hond zijn zakjes op het veld te krijgen.

Niet alle toiletgebouwen zijn volop in gebruik. De afvalcontainers zijn erg ver buiten de camping.
