General :

We had an amazing break! The site is beautiful and very peaceful. Every member of staff was very friendly and helpful and clearly enjoyed working at La Garangeoire. We have holidayed at a large number of 5* campsites in France over the years this is one of, if not the best we have had the pleasure of staying at.

It was perfect! We loved the outdoor seating area and the seclusion. It contained everything we needed foe the perfect self catering break.

Loved the atmosphere, the helpful friendly staff and the activities and facilities.

Taos accommodation could be better equipped. No good sharp kitchen knives or large drinking glasses. The bar should have a good selection of wines, not just the basic red, white and rose choices. This is France and we like good French wine selections. Also, the small bar kept closing early, 9.30 or 9.40 pm every evening. You could sell good wines here and stay open to 11.

Le calme et le chant des oiseaux très agréable au réveil. Personnels très agréables et à nôtre écoute La propriétaire est très accessible et accueillante...on est comme à la maison.

We had a lovely holiday. Thank you. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our son particularly enjoyed the football camp.

Maybe you could have a water polo session.

We have stayed at this site many times, both worth our own caravan & now in accommodation. Our sons have spent time here as children and now have returned with us as adults. It is very much a family oriented site and one of the best we have visited & we have travelled all over France.

We liked the internal layout of this accommodation, but the best part was the external decked areas, that are private & provide the right mix of sun & shade.

Very relaxing stay on an extremely well maintained and friendly site, a great selection of food and drink offerings From cheese and wine tasting, and crepe parties to the takeaway and the restaurant. We have been coming to La Garangeoire for almost 20 years, our 21 year old son spent his childhood summers here and after a break of 5 years asked if we could revisit as a family again. The site is constantly being made even better than it was before and it’s always been great!

As everywhere people putting towels on loungers around pool yet not actually using them. Other little niggle was the amount of balls being thrown between groups in the pool. Maybe they could just keep to one area rather than being all over the pool

L emplacement le logement le calme

La terrasse innondee à chaque pluie, impossible d en profiter, la toile n étant pas étanche. Service moyen au bar de la piscine manque de formation de professionnalisme, un manque énorme de poubelles dans le camping. Impossible de profiter du services institut ,deux fois rdv annulés !!! Un peu cher comparer à d autres 5 étoiles de la Vendée ! Deuxième séjours de 3 semaines mais c etait le dernier !

We love the vibe and the countryside setting which Is very special. We have made great friends that we see every year. The tour of the grounds was great and the place is really keen with lovely friendly staff.

This was our first time holidaying in June, maybe the staff were only being trained in but choice of food and activities limited. The usual rotisserie chickens were not available and the take away chips were poorly cooked, either cold or over cooked. Service at the bar also very slow. Table quiz in English was not legible as translation was not good/complete.

Le calme! Notre TAOS était parfait, nous étions ravis!

Il n’y a pas de restauration en dehors des hébergements le midi… gros problème quand on a un bébé pour faire un restaurant le soir… c’est vraiment le seul point qui nous a chiffonné

This is our third visit though we haven’t been for three years - it was our best yet, lots to keep our 7 and 8 year occupied. Pony trekking, mini-golf, games room, family table tennis matches not to mention the organised activities such as football and dodgeball. Kids club in the morning meant my husband and I could do a long walk together which was just lovely. Thank you, we’ll be back.

Table inside is in the way so disrupts flow. Ended up pushing it back out of the way against the sofa. Resedas was under a huge tree and our car ended up covered in mess including tree sap.

Mooie camping. Leuk zwembad.

Vaak druk bij receptie. Winkel in hoogseizoen ook in middag gesloten (niet super erg). Wisselend aanbod in hoeveelheid broodjes.

le taos , l'emplacement, la gentillesse du personnel, le camping verdoyant et très bien entretenu .

Manque de personnel, surtout au niveau du bar et restaurant , un grand manque de poubelles dans le camping, surtout pour y jeter les sacs des besoins de nos 2 toutous en ballade dans le camping, pour les petites faims de la journée un stand crêpes, pâtisseries etc. serais un plus l'après midi.

Habitués au camping "les castels"qui est déjà un gage de qualité en soi, celui-ci est au top.... tant au niveau de l'espace que des activités proposées.... Il est parfait avec des enfants : kids club, soirée kapla, château gonflable, pêche, lagon peu profond qui permet de surveiller les enfants sans stresser. Les écrans ont vite été oubliés. A noter que le restaurant et la vente à emporter sont bons et correspondent au standing du camping. Les espaces verts sont parfaitement entretenus. Quelques excursions sympas à faire : Noirmoutier, visite de marées salants....etc

super pour un séjour nature et sport : baignade, pêche, vélo, aquagym, accrobranche.... région un peu limité pour un séjour culturel

Le mobilier, l'agencement, les terrasses, le sans vis-à-vis avec les bambous, le mobile-home sans télé = pas d'enfants qui réclament = tranquillité !

lampes de chevet en inox trop brûlantes dans la chambre enfant, il aurait fallu mettre des LED

Really nice swimming pool and walk / run routes around edge of site. Loved going on the lake in a pedalo.... general feel around the site was nice
