Quietness. Relaxed atmosphere. Family friendly. Close to nature.

We rented a Taos cabin (Romarins?) and the frame of the double bed was very, very noisy. Even the slightest movement would create enough noise to wake someone up. Needs maintenance or replacement.

Leuk verblijf gehad met een toffe combinatie van bezoekjes aan het strand en het zwembad van de camping. Daguitstap naar ile d'yeu was ook heel leuk en goed geholpen geweest aan het onthaal om de boot te boeken. Goed uitgeruste campingwinkel. Afhaal aan de snackbar was ook heel goed georganiseerd. De ijsjes vielen in de smaak aan het zwembad. Top vakantie gehad. Bedankt

Heel handig om prive sanitair bij de plek te hebben. Mooie ruime plekken met voldoende privacy.

Accommodation great and staff very helpful This was our 7 th visit to La Garangeoire we love the surroundings the atmosphere and there are lots of places to visit in the area

L'accueil était parfait, tout était propre et rangé L'ensemble à été agréable

Le chalet était derrière le parking ce qui engendre des nuisances sonores nocturnes, le rapport quantité/prix de la restauration est à revoir, très bon mais nous avions encore faim en fin de repas

General :

I liked the surroundings and the vibe and atmosphere on the site. The site felt safe for kids. Beautiful flowers and trees. Enough space including sun loungers at the pool that you didn’t have to get there early to get one (but not sure what this would be like in high season). The staff were very friendly, always smiling and helpful. Free pedal boats and canoe is very nice. The grounds were clean. The bouncy castles were great. The pitch for soccer tournament is great. Nice central place and easy to do day excursions. Chateau is beautiful to look at.

The take away was poor quality & it was expensive. The lasagne was frozen in the middle. Coffee is terrible The restaurant was ok but over priced and choices were limited. The bouncy castles for the small children could be up more. bike rental is expensive €35 for 3 days!!!! The convenient store shouldn’t close during the day this is very annoying. The lighting around the camp site is very bad after dark. The sensor in ‘Roses’ garden wasn’t working. You needed a torch after you passed the night security cabin as there were few lights making it dangerous.

Lovely secluded private garden, with nice green bushes. Nice outdoor space and great covered in canopy. Small inside for 6 ppl but we managed. Beds were comfortable enough and sheets were clean. Lots of pots, saucepans, utensils etc. Good black out blinds.

The space is tight for ‘premium’ especially storage. There was nowhere to put 6 suitcases! Not enough storage for clothes! We stayed for 10 nights and I think there should be one bed and towel change included in price. The end of stay cleaning fee is extortion. After paying €200 you need to scrub the BBQ like new and strip the beds. I left the place as we found it so I wonder why the huge fee. We did everything ourselves except wash the floor….which was actually not clean when we arrived. The pillows are not comfortable.

General :

Dit is één van de mooiste campings die we ooit bezocht hebben. Netjes, zeer ruime plaatsen en zeer rustig, grote supermarkt en lekker eten in het restaurant. Alles is gelegen temidden van een groene omgeving met bos, vijvers ver van alle drukte weg. Een echte aanrader !

Als we toch iets moeten opmerken is dat bij aankomst de receptie ietwat druk was, maar dat was misschien een momentopname.

Again we had a beautiful stay in La Garangeoire. We love this place and will be back.
