General :

Having stayed once before at The Chateau Martragny and very pleased with everything the first time, returning for a second visit was an easy decision. The campsite is a good location of access to the whole of the coastline of the D Day beaches plus the inland areas too. Bayeux is close by and a very pleasant town to visit too! The site is clean, well kept, as are the toilet, showers and wash facilities.

I only required a small pitch without electricity and it was fine, the grass well kept for a tent and the surrounding gardens well looked after. Plenty of space between the pitches therefore giving privacy from other pitches.

Poor distribution of power hookups many in excess of the standard power cable lengths of 25 Metres Also current availability was reduced significantly once more power outlets were in use. SAFETY CONCERNS OVER WATER RUNNING OUT OF POWER SOCKETS! Insufficient sit down WCs in old ablution block on avenue.

De ruimte en de rust van deze camping zijn bijzonder. De mensen bij de receptie zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Dat geldt ook voor de mensen die in het restaurant werken. Hier kun je voor een redelijke prijs goede gerechten krijgen.

Ik heb niets negatiefs te melden over deze camping, die zijn vijf sterren alleszins waard is.

Peaceful area, no noise or kids screaming quite site for a break and plenty out and about to do.

Restaurant is poor, service is slow and manager is rude but thinks its humour.

The damp smell down stairs in the bedrooms.

De ce lieu se dégagent de bonnes ondes. Bel endroit historique, situé non loin des plages du DDay. Equipements parfaitement bien intégrés au site. Bref un endroit idéal pour se ressourcer en famille ou entre amis.

Fantastisch gelegen camping en het verblijf tussen eeuwen oude bomen maken het verblijf tot een ware belevenis! Ook het restaurant "La Table du Chateau" is een positieve ervaring gebleken, een aanrader na een dagje uit. Mooi centraal gelegen om de D-day stranden, cementries, memorials en Le Mont St-Michel te bezoeken

mooie plek! Goede ontvangst

Douches te heet! Kon dus echt geen haren wassen omdat de douches te heet waren. Afvalklepjes stonden open bij toilet. Veel afval achter restaurant... (loop je langs), moet opgeruimd zijn.

Superb location, good sized pitches, lots of grounds. Decent restaurant. Easy access to Bayeux and the beaches.
