General :

Have stayed here since the late 80's for the 24Hrs and must say the site was looking very good with the changes and ongoing work that has been undertaken. Typical Le Mans weekend although did seem less variety of cars and seemingly down on numbers. Baker, fresh croissant and bread every morning..

Despite the location, site, hospitality etc. it is an expensive site, even more so as prices are increased somewhat for the Le Mans 'weekend'. Closing restaurant on Sunday for a special site meal, couldn't get alternative all be it Pizza. Shop is very small. Restaurant, 'achilles heel'. Efforts to improve seating area are good but food leaves a lot to be desired, Pizzas OK. 'Special 'Pig' meal extremely expensive for what was served, to be told, only two pieces of cheese! Save your money. Paying for poor WiFi on top.

Pitch size good and access to water and electricity easy. Toilets close by but with the number of pitches in this area now, question whether this area needs improvement, especially with only one shower. You have to walk to main block. Not a massive problem but it would be nice to have more showers here. Front field is cold

Front field is cold, wind blows straight into it which in hot weather OK but not when colder and at night. Noticeable temperature difference when you walk through to main part of the site. Could have asked to be moved but by then the tent was up etc etc.

General :

Love the whole surrounding and the staff are amazing.

Because we were near the chateau the amount of noise at night was not good

Very welcoming, fantastic facilities. Food in the restaurant & takeaway much better than last year. The pitches are great which are well maintained and spacious.

The children’s play area was getting over grown and some of the equipment could not be used.

Voor het tweede jaar overnacht op deze camping. Prima voorzieningen, vriendelijke en behulpzame medewerkers. Veel kampeerders uit de UK en Nederland die naar de race gaan. En natuurlijk de vrijdagavondshow van bijzondere voertuigen van kampeerders. Met het (koude) buffet erachteraan. Erg gezellig.

Gewoon een ruime plek met 10 Ampère aansluiting. Iets verder lopen naar de WC's, maar ach, dat is te doen.

We stonden op een lage plek vlakbij het meertje. Door de vele regenval was die plek behoorlijk verzadigd en bleef het water deels staan. En de boiler van de douches kon de drukte 's ochtends niet helemaal aan. Je wordt goed wakker van een lauwe douche.

Welcoming, friendly and a great atmosphere with excellent facilities. We have been visiting Chateloup for many years as it's great to watch the race but then to come back to an oasis of peace and quiet!

The welcome from Valerie and the Dream Team as always. The grounds and setting off the site work well with lots of green space. The overall facilities including things like fridge hire, electricity points make the stay that little bit better. The sharper, shorter format of the Friday party/parade works well.

Changing one of the mini bathrooms to a second shower in the facility block near Verger would be a great addition. With only one there is often a queue. Adding an EV fast charger would bring more visitors to your site who would stay longer. I noticed at least 3 EVs this weekend. We managed to top up charge overnight for our short journeys from the pitch electricity supply but for travelling further a chargeable fast charge set up would bring you even more visitors. I experienced this a lot travelling around Spain and Portugal. Finally, larger group bookings are a bit more challenging online.

Not really, just need for an extra shower in the local block. Toilet roll ran out in all of the toilets at this section for most of Saturday morning.
