General :

We did a 1 month tour of France and this was by far our favourite campsite. The pitches were extremely roomy, with great utility connections. The Pool was 5 star and extremely clean, with great recliners and umbrellas. The site has a great coffee shop and convenience store and the restaurant serves healthy, quality meals at very reasonable prices. It's a short 10 mins walk through a wood to beautiful Villedomer, which has a Patisserie and other convenience stores. We did 3 great hikes from the site, with information provided on our arrival. Great site and a lovely family that run it.

Very nice and relaxing campground. It was a first class experience, the owners are very nice and knowledgeable! Close to many castles and vineyards. NIce and clean pool, delicious and reasonably priced restaurant on site. Don’t miss the vine tasting once a week!

Very warm welcome from Tim. A few issues with uneven and sloping pitch which was resolved very satisfactorily.

Would like to see a dedicated adult only swim in early morning. The pool was wonderful but it was impossible to swim lengths with children playing. Chose to swim early morning which did work but feel in school holidays this might be a problem

General :

Really clean, loads of showers, premium pitch in a nice location and good set up, lots of activities and decent shop etc, reception wasn't super helpful with tips etc. but friendly and the staff were all lovely. Enjoyed the wine tasting and exploring the woods especially. We came in summer holidays so expected lots of families and there were indeed lots of kids, but everyone was very quiet and it still felt really relaxed. We came by public transport (train to Tours then taxi) whcih worked fine with bike hire but we were a bit stuck for activities.

Pool was naturally a bit kid heavy so don't expect to be doing lengths! We weren't mega impressed by the restaurant but it was nice to have a nourishing meal in a pleasant setting.

Location in shady area was perfect, well set up and clean, near the toilets and good access to pool.

Remember to bring a converter cable thing! We didn't know we'd need one to use the electricity, they kindly lent us one. Best suited to those with camper vans/big tents etc (make sure you have space in tent for the fridge or a way to cover it) but having the seating etc was nice. It did feel a little close to neighbours.

Het domein is prachtig; bosrijk en de gebouwen die er staan hebben een architecturale charme.

Het enige minpunt voor ons is dat het ver lopen was naar de wc aangezien het dichtstbijzijnde sanitair-blok steeds gesloten was

Aangezien de kampeerplekken zich in een bosrijk gebied bevinden is er voldoende schaduw hetgeen nodig was tijdens de hitteperiode in juli 2022 dat wij er verbleven.

General :

We really like the setting of the site which had been sympathetically done. Gorgeous pool with bar and beautiful surroundings. We can’t wait to return in a couple of weeks’ time.

Really friendly and knowledgeable staff who were happy to helped. Really liked having our own water tap too.

Prachtige omgeving. Mooi opgezette camping. H10 volop schaduw, rondom ook veel schaduw plekken. Leuke activiteiten en prima voorzieningen. Prachtig zwembad! Mooie plek om Loire gebied te verkennen. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

De animatie voor de kinderen vonden we minimaal. Was 1 keer per dag en gericht op de wat jongere kinderen. Tip: ijs verkoop ook na 18 uur.
