General :

Mooie camping met veelal ruime plekken en goed sanitair. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Goede uitvalsbasis naar diverse toeristische hoogtepunten.

Weinig negatiefs te melden. Als ik heel kritisch ben, dan zou ik zeggen dat sommige activiteiten erg duur zijn. Een wijnproeverij voor 10€ per persoon is gewoon te duur, als je met 4 personen bent. Een uitje naar de bijen ook veel te duur. Dus daar hebben wij niet aan meegedaan. Bovendien weinig plekken om te reserveren, dus je moet er al snel bij zijn om überhaupt mee te kunnen doen. Maar het heeft ons plezier op deze camping zeker niet in de weg gestaan. Wij hebben ons prima vermaakt! Zwembad is misschien een slagje te klein als het heel druk is op de camping.

Geweldige plek! Wij hebben bij he Mt reserveren wel bewust gevraagd om een plek met veel schaduw en ook gekregen. Er zijn namelijk ook veel plekken zonder schaduw.

Heerlijk genoten. Prima camping met goede tips van de eigenaar over bezienswaardigheden in de buurt die passen bij ons gezin.

Een prullenbak bij de wasbakken en douche in de buurt zou fijn zijn.

Tim and Jane work hard to make everyone’s holiday enjoyable. Lots of activities for families and children but plenty of space and time to chill too. Great food, great bar, great shop. Lovely people!

The pool gets quite full when it’s hot but I don’t know what the answer is to this.

De camping is erg netjes. Sanitair goed verzorgd en erg schoon. Wij hadden een grote fijne plek onder de bomen. Lekker warme douches. Fijn en erg vriendelijk personeel.

Je moet wel vaak op het knopje van de douche drukken, en er is alleen wifi in de buurt van de receptie.

General :

Loved our holiday at this amazing campsite. The perfect place for families in a wonderful setting. In most areas of leisure/hospitality/holidays it feels normal now to be treated as a 'cash cow' - but Jane and Tim run their campsite with a real community ethos and staying here you are made to feel extremely welcome. Activities are based on quality over quantity. For children, our daughter loved the forest school and pony riding. For adults, the Monday night market is a wonderful highlight of the week bringing everyone together. We are already planning when we will return!

Our pitch was really big with half fully shaded.

Not the owners's fault but ground was rock hard and tent pegs didn't go in easily, bring a hammer and some spare pegs.

General :

so welcoming. quiet. nice activities and pure nature. the vibe is incredible. and it really is in the details - for example when you wait to pick up your bread in the morning (super deliscious by the way) a nice person comes and offers you a coffee for your waiting time!! i mean - that’s brilliant.

the bathroom facilities need a touch up and some more cleaning.

Great relaxed vibe, very well maintained, great facilities - everything one needs for a great holiday. We were only passing through during our journey to the SW but we would happily stay longer. Really love this site!

Showers were a bit cool, but it was probably around the evening ‘rush’ period, and the buttons only turned them on for about six seconds. Cubicles could do with more hooks. Would also appreciate a couple of cubicles which are larger so as to shower more comfortably with my young kids. There was a disabled cubicle which was large but I didn’t think I should use that.
