General :

Camping qui reste à visage humain. Un propriétaire a l'écoute de ses client et qui aime son métier. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour avec notre petite fille qui a pu s'occuper sans risque et toujours sous l’œil attentif du patron.

Les vacances tout simplement, le calme ! Le petit village de salavas (vieux village) accessible à pieds du camping. Les randonnées ! Possibilité de pêcher

Beaucoup de canoës avec des personnes ne savant pas nager et naviguer donc risque de heurt lorsque l’on se baigne.

La chambre avec 2 lits n’a pas beaucoup de rangement pour les habits, la penderie n’a pas été utile..

General :

Compared with other campsites along the river le Clapas had a lovely small beach. Better than what other sites appeared to have. Snack bar was a good price and good quality food. We went on kayak trip booked at the site, picked up and dropped off afterwards from Le Clapas, great trip good value for money. Overall clean facilities. Nice small site, would use this site if we returned to the region.

Shame the site across the river had loud entertainment going on until about midnight which disturbed the lovely quiet of Le Clapas. This would not stop us from coming back

Really nice family campsite. Our second visit as we enjoyed the beach with our small children 2 years ago. Beautiful spot on the river close to some gorgeous villages and town. Canoeing was fantastic and brilliant area for cycling. Safe campsite for children to play on bikes. Reasonable choice of food in the evenings although it would be great to have the chicken guy twice in the week.

The campsite itself is quiet but there is a lot of noise most nights from neighbouring campsites which goes on quite late. Our pitch was a bit soggy after heavy rain and due to the shade never dried out.

Our pitch was one of the smaller ones tucked in a back corner which was shaded all day. The shade was great for cool temperatures but meant after heavy rain the ground never dried out. Reasonably flat pitches marked out.

Damp ground all the time was annoying and it took a while to dry washing and wet towels.

Helpful staff, nice atmosphere, hot water, drinking taps near pitch, safe environment, beach, clean facilities, recycling, close to town

Very noisy campsite nearby or neighbours with loud music almost every night.
